Every year the movie theater that I work at has a special screening of the Oscar nominated Live Action and Animated shorts which is is where I got the pleaure to see this amazing short. Take that all Canada bashers!!!! I have no idea what actually won Best Animated Short but I an't uderstand why this shouldn't have won. It is beautiful and creepy and feels like a weird dream you'd have perhaps in the throes of a fever. Amazing.

what is very bad is to say this won cannes 2007 and not to be true. if your film is good, you dont need to lay in order to make it noticeable. It is disrespectful to others.

I think the bags she is carrying at the beginning of the film represents her

guilts or impositions. At the end, she finally gets rid of them and is freed.

i like the idea of the luggage being guilts or impositions a lot! , but i might add myself, i believe also the passengers mean related stuff, like, the two men playing checkers might be (as one looks old and one young) maybe a reprsentation between a loved one and her parents, the grotesque man being a bad experience, the kid might be how the most cute things have been bad for her, and the sleeping man her giving ups, its all about thinking openly, right?
