@fieryhand Thanks! I'm planning on getting one myself, so I just wanted to know where to get one! Also, how long did he take to arrive? Anyway, Merry Christmas!
Have you come to the Vent Haven ConVENTion in Kentucky? You look familiar but maybe I just saw a video before. You can learn a lot and meet ventriloquist from around the world!
You have to order them online. Google search "Ventriloquist Dummy" and you'll find some. Don't buy the pull-string ones, because they hurt your finger if your finger has a blister or rugburn and the mouth usually doesn't work too good on them. But the ones with the wooden stick and levers are more expensive! My grumpy old man character(George) was a whopping $752!
Why are all ventriloquist dummies so frightening looking?

Use the letter N and press your tongue against the back of your top front teeth. It takes a lot of practice, I've been doing this for 3 years now.

I saw the other figure, very nice, glasses on puppets seldom seem right unless the figure was designed with glasses in mind ...keep up the good work.
knibscratch 4 months ago
Not bad ..But keep the figure alive when his is not speaking.

@knibscratch
Yeah, this was a while ago when I shot this. I now have a 2nd figure named George and I ditched the glasses. lol

can you buy a puppet that looks like you in that website
rj20109 5 months ago
@rj20109
No, just what they have in stock. A custom one would be up to a pro builder like Dan Payes. But those cost over $600.
fieryhand 5 months ago
where do you buy puppets like that?
