  • Thanks for your trying best! But it isn't real cooking type. Because u didn't use peanuts powder and cooked yellow dhalls. U need to boil dhalls untill soft. Now your mohinga is like curry. It must be soup. Anyway thanks for good idea.

  • Umm I am Burmese (both parents) I also lived in Burma for some time but I have never seen Mohinga made like this or with Bamboo shoots in it?? This is obviously your personal take on a TRADITIONAL dish.. I'm sure it tastes wonderful but it is not the Burmese recipe..I will give yours a try though to compare..My 80 year old Mum just watched it again with me and she raised a quizzical eyebrow and said well we should try it and see..So I'll give it a go to see the difference.. Thanks for posting..
