@skjaldulfr but see here. years before americans came the spanish went in what is now america. many horses they brought and escaped which were spanish mustangs. later the horses were obtained by native peoples and were later evolved into mustangs. these horses are still used and found in the wild. also this was only about 130 years ago not ancient.
