Thanks for posting. Sure doesn't look anything like it did November of 67-April 68. I was with the 105 Howitzer unit there, B Battery, 3rd Battalion, 82nd Artillery.

Nice pictures!! I like the surround pictures showing the lz's.....i was down on and around lz west in 68-69 as rto....helped build and stayed in bunker 21 on lz west...nice to see the picture from your angle...all the best..harold

thanks for the reply...i have a friend that lives in-country for 6months per yr. he has been to hoi ann,and the old marine bases south of danang....if i went, it would be in the dry season...thanks, bob west

Haven't tried to climb it but would like to one day. You should be able to get pretty close to the bottom by road and there is probably a trial to the top because there was one on center. On Center people went up to get wood and grow trees near the top so there is a good chance others are doing similar things there. If you want to go sometime, let me know because I can advise you and maybe even go with you.
