  • Hell of a save guys!! Great job!!

  • wow talk about balls! good job!

  • wow it seemed like those guys were in there forever great job

  • STEAM BURNS, SUCKS THE OXYGEN OUT, NO VISIBILITY. if you are going to apply water , you might as well not go in! every firefighter who makes interior attacks no matter WERE YOU WORK, should think of the houston fire dept. thank you capt. CLIFFORD REED for giving us the ability to do what we do!

  • Heatmizer61, it is a common practice to do primary searches without a hoseline, if the house was bigger, tag lines would probably be used. Houston Fire great job! Your fellow brother in Corpus Christi Fire.

  • Ive done a search without a hose that is not my problem. You walk into a home with fire around the entrance and you lay your hose in fire like it is fireproof and that is not wise. The line was already charged so it would have taken two seconds to knock down the fire to protect egress. You can be aggressive and smart at the same time. Someone else said that safety was for those afraid of fire....My question to them is why do we have fire gear at all? Let's just run in with shorts and a t shirt.

  • good job!!!

  • Well disciplined firefighting. Great job. Fellow firefighter from Phoenix.

  • im a fire fighter and when your making attack in a structure with entrapment you dont look at everything like you should heatmizer, yeah it should have been put out but the life would have been lost and you know it, good job guys GREAT SAVE!!!!!

  • Ok...someones life was saved and that is good, but that does not mean we check our training at the door. Why would you enter a door with a line while the entry is still burning? What would happen if you were inside and the fire burned through your hose at the point of entry?

  • have you ever heard of a truck company no hoseline only a can

  • Great job guys, inspiring display of "aggresive firefighting" & worth every minute of it. If that was my family I would hope you would do the same...

  • 19-D GREAT SAVE BOYS

  • AMAZING! FF at its best. God Bless you guys!

  • awesome job HFD. I wish my dept. was more aggressive like that. most of them have the mind set of the Safety First guy. Make no mistake that safety is not lost because your aggressive. The safest fire, is one that goes out quikly. The best chances for survival are the rescues that were done aggressively! KEEP IT UP!

  • ok here we go! i was waiting for this to happen, some cookbook firefighter had to mention safety. When did firefighting become safe? please let me know. aggresive rescue at its best, stay aggressive houston your a dying breed. SAFETY first is something a guy thats afraid to go through the front door says so he can live with himself. I was under the impression we were to be willing to lay our lives on the line so another can live. Am I wrong? let me know ill keep my mouth shut. STAY AGGRESSIVE

  • Good Job!! I am just glad to see that some dumbass did not start spraying water( thru a window) while you guys were still searching...REAL firefighters know that any visibility goes to zero when it steams, so look for the victim before you put out the fire. I dont know if she survived, but I do Know her chances would have been much less if a line was used from the outside. Excellent video on how to stay calm and do the job like a professional! ....again excellent work

  • Fantastic job and these guys deserve a Valor, but does anyone think they may have been in just a little too long? What happened to safety first?

  • really? they got a grap man these guys did a great job!!!! risk alot to save alot they got in there and got after it!

  • My dept worked a save last week, its a great feeling. GOOD JOB GUYS

  • It's an honor being in the same Fire Dept. as you guys! Keep up the good work!
