NO your wrong the archos 7 plays movies in dvd 4mat and also plays them in HD, you can fit over 200 movies on archos 7. and 2000 songs at same time, ipod and only mp3 4mat - once you go archos 7 - you will not want a ipod touch, also there screen is too small.

Yes... There is a shuffle option for videos as well as for songs on the Archos.

The A5 will fit in your pocket, but the A7 will not; it is way too big to fit in your pocket.

So if you are definitely going to get one of the two Archos; then the A5 would best fit the requirement you have listed.

Cool video! I have the same Archos 7, and I am typing this very message from my A7... Right now I have about a hundred and fourty movies(including cartoons, documentaries, and vacation videos from europe). Still encoding a lot move movies.
