Made me wish there was sequel. Remember the movie did not end as the book did. Producers wanted an uplifting ending. So Lyra turning over Roger to Asriel would have to open Subtle Knife unlike the book where roger is used to crack open the portal to the other world

It starts out mainly focusing on will.

The worlds already open in the first one.

In The Subtle Knife, will and Lyra meat and obtain the knife.

This is one fakeass trailer.

I hope there is a sequel though. I loved this series.

You know, now that I think of it, the ending of The Golden Compass (Northern Lights) would be a good way to open the subtle knife. Kinda like what Peter Jackson did with LOTR.

I'm glad they're not making a subtle knife movie, the golden compass movie was terrible, the only actor I liked was the guy playing Lee Scoresby, I know it's the usual case for movies to stray a little from the book, but the movie almost had nothing to do with the book, it was terribly awful

well... i really love to see the subtle knife in the big screen, but i doubt that it will be a movie. I really love the story line but when i had finished the amber spyglass (great book by the way), God was dead, and in some kind of way it's blasphemous. there's apart in the trilogy that there are good fallen angels. I know it's just fiction but it affects the thinking of a reader (in a way)

I really love his dark materials, and i want it to be a MOVIE the subtle knife so as the amber spyglass.

@godofwar6511 i read the books and watched movies of course my family wouldn't get get me the book because of the word daemon (i know right that religious) but luckily my dead grandmother (died when i was in 3rd grade miss you grandma ;-;) had two of the books the golden compass and the subtle knife oh yea and the first three books of the harry potter series (she died before the rest of the books could be made and she would've loved them to)

Thanks for all your comments so far! Every one of them is greatly appreciated. I thought I'd let you know that I've been working on another Subtle Knife trailer that should be up in a day or two. I think I've done a much better job with the audio editing and working it smoothly with the music. That's all I'll say for now though, and I hope you enjoy!!!

I am still glad to see hope of a sequel. The one thing I am sure of is that they have a scrip together. But could they at least give us a definite Yes/no answer if it will be put into production. Or even if it will be made by someone else. If they are planning on doing it they'd better start very soon, before it's too late. I do like the video, many like it, but the fact that you only uploaded it not long ago shows that TSK could still be possible.
