"wave approaches the interface between two media at 90 degrees angle", yet it does not say that it strikes the media at 90 degrees; knowing impedence is irrelevent.
an ultrasound wave approaches an interface between two media at an orthogonal angle. The propagation speeds and the densities of two media are different. What is correct ?
a. reflection will definitely occur
b. reflection will definitely not occur
c. refraction may occur.
d. none of the above.
the answere in the book is d. none of the above.
Yet I know that impedence Z = Density x Propagation speed.
knowing that tells me that impedences are diff between two media. Am I wrong here?
Effective study tools like flash cards maybe or something that outlines ARDMS questions. . Any tips are appreciated. I'm going to form online study group website for those preparing for Physics Exam.
I am currently reviewing from Davis registry review questions and Edelman's flash cards.
Do you think it would be dangerous to have an ultrasound emitter close to your head for a while? I'm looking into designing night vision goggles using ultrasound, please reply
When are u goin to post the next lectures? Im trying to get more materials to read about ultrasound physics.. need to pass the exam. Thanks.. this means a lot to me
Thanx for the channel this is great.

there is no incidence here.
Someone pulled the plug on that one

Are you going to put up more lectures? I need to pass my physics board and it seems this would help. Thanks for doing this.
