Yes, Katarina Witt performed at the 1980 Lake Placid Games, beating Linda Frattiane in the Women's Figure Skating competition. And just before the closing ceremony, she skated to "Hello, Dolly" by Louis Armstrong. I know; I saw it all.

At the skating exhibition, I was surprised that East Germany's Katerina Witt dressed up in a flapper outfit and skated to Hello Dolly by Louis Armstrong! (Hello, Katerina! I heard Jim say!)
