Babyg474 - bash you? I'm not one of these pathetic people commonly found on youtube that sits behind computer screens and spews meaningless insults and threats, worry not. The dream about Kyuss is it was a band where the singing seemed to me almost incidental - the riffs, bass, drums and guitar work drove Kyuss. Garcia was very low in the mix, and his voice seemed to be produced as another instrument. He suited the package. Hard to judge now, as he thinks he needs to turn down as unplugged.

The problem with Nick's acoustic version is he doesn't have anything but full throttle, which is frustrating, as there is no dynamics, but is him, and there is no way to change that. It's also a little endearing. On the other side, John needs to realise that acoustic doesn't need to mean 50% though, and his guitarists are a bit of a shambles. I've been acoustically covering Kyuss for some time, and if there are no drums, you need to provide both the beat and the riff. The lead is uninspired too.

@NeilJameshunter Full throttle? I'm sorry, on the original track Garcia screamed his balls off, but I guess it's all midlife crysis now. I never really actually liked Garcia's vocals, IMHO he can't sing, don't bash me, or if you do I'll silently go away :P
