Seriously, the noughties were all about the process of dumbing down television, look back at the older comic relief footage of AP and Simon Pegg, when they do a similar sketch, and the crowd were pissing themselves. The only thing that gets close to this quality now is Limmy.

  • @goonbot3030 spot on!

  • I was out with mates once and we went into a bar not realizing it was a gay bar. The bar was very full . Pushing my way in to to get served I asked a guy ` do you mind if I push your stool in " . I realize now it was the wrong thing to say !

  • Typical Partridge... get someone on his chat-show to talk about a, 'happy', occasion in someone's life, only for it to slowly degenerate into a slagging match due to his ignorance and bigotry.

  • Its a bit harsh calling the crowd cunts and imbeciles. Alan Partridges comedy just doesnt hit home with some people. When I watch it with friends we seem to laugh at completely different parts of it. But for me Partridge is a genius

What do you do to relax & I don't mean poppers? lol

  • You got that right mate. I made the point a while back that Steve wasted an awsesome sketch like this on a retarded Ant and Dec type audience!

I think no laughter would have worked a lot better than these cunts.

  • this audience is scum, sub-human scum

  • I agree about that audience- unpleasant people, bitter bastards.

  • Cone this audience take a joke?

  • Doubt it- I think every profession has its 'shits'.
