The video cannot be faked, because there are SEVERAL tapes of the incident, from unrelated sources. There is footage BEFORE the shooting, DURING the shooting, and AFTER she is dead. The Iranian government issued several statements about the incident as well, showing that THEY thought it is real.
Not to mention that the image is correct. The blood coming out her nose and mouth are because the bullet that ripped open her heart would have wrecked her insides, rupturing her blood vessels.

If you say she was shot from behind with a small caliber weapon, remembering that the AK47 is a .308 round, small caliber/high velocity round, there would have been a massive chest exit. She wasn't an observer... she was a protester. The tanks could have run over that man, and he knew of the dangers. The reason she is a hero is that she protested despite the fact that she knew she could die for it. Because of this, she's a symbol for other protesters that, yes, we could die for this, but we love our country and our nation enough to stand up anyway. Her sacrifice shouldn't be forgotten.
