Reaction Injection Molding (RIM) is using the polyol and isocyante raw materials and "injecting" them into a mold cavity. This starts an isothermic reaction causing the materials to "foam" and fill the mold cavity when the tool is closed. In this case the process begins with the tool open (for an open pour application).

Our company also makes gear pumps systems for RIM applications and that feed the mold and are installed in the robot arm.
