How to connect your Gateway via wireless

some how my router wont give off wireless connection so that i can connect systems such as playstation 3, ipodtouch, and laptops. it just gives internet to the computer it is connected to manually. why is this happening please heelllppp!!!!

I seem to be having issues with my internet connections, in fact, as I am typing this the video has NOT loaded up yet to even an centimeter. I just wanted to know if there are any ways to make my connection faster?

I have an Netgear wireless adapter right next to my modem, it says connection is excellent, but to me is full of crap. Please, respond as soon as possible.

hey. can some one help me??.. i been having my 2WIRE for a while. and it has hardly gave me any problems but.. after a year of using it i finally buy a laptop to use the wireless.. but it does'nt work...... it does'nt show up in my wireless connection...

@TW0SL0 here are some steps that i can recommend you..

it would depend on the model of your laptop tho and your operating system as well

so if you're using windows vista here's how it usually goes:

1. check whether the of the wireless connection coming from your gateway is enabled or broadcasted by going to start->control panel->network and sharing center->manage wireless networks and if you see there your 2wire network, it is enabled. if not, click set up a connection or network instead then.

@cenagurl123 ...click on manually connect to a wireless network->hit next->fill out the necessary info like network name, security type (which is usually wpa-personal or wep then tkip with regards to the encryption type. your security key would be the 10 digit passcode on the sticker at the side of your main router, the one with the label wireless network/encryption key. hit next and voila! check it. if anything goes wrong, toggle with wep,wpa2 or those stuff. good luck!
