It should work under xp as long as you have 1.5gigs pf RAM. Atom 1ghz processor and EVERY PROCESS that you don't need cut off. No internet or wireless. I did this back in 2008... With a very large collection as well (32,000 songs).
using Traktor Pro 2, Allen & Heath:Xone DX and slightly optimized Windows 7 (could be lower but won't put efforts in here). Hardware is Intel i5 and 4GB DDR2. Sample is rate is 44,1kHz aswell.
In Mac OS X Lion I hope to reach <5ms at 96kHz, let's see ^^

I see CPU usage is too high, have u QE/CI enabled? I've heard somewhere that run better if disabled. Lemme know..Anyway nice vid

Still trying to get my Acer Aspire 7740G to work.

May I ask what your latency was on Windows?
Currently I have the following latency:
4,4ms processing
10,1ms output
14,5ms overall

If i try to run Traktor Pro under Windows (XP or 7) on that Netbook, it doesn't work at all. but as you can see, with OSX it works pretty well...
