Anybody else wish Goku had lost to Pikkon in the finals?
Besides consistency, (how can Pikkon one-shot Cell but lose to SSJ Goku?) I just think it would have made for a better story. It would have implied that otherworld was home to powers beyond even the saiyans, and given us a reason to respect the Supreme Kai when he was later introduced. It also would have given Goku an actual incentive to train to reach SSJ3.
I guess it just annoys me when Goku succeeds at everything without even trying.
@Oisin1266 I agree. But I would argue that the fact he Isn't a Sayain but still gave Goku a run for his money makes him more of a badass. He didn't have easy power ups or anything as it took him thousands of years to get there--that's like Tien or Krillin getting that strong. Mad props.

you want to talk about the strongest? Cell had THE MOST potential. He was already strong but with his sayain cells he gets stronger with every major wound. she can regen almost as good as Buu and has every one's moves and ( going by GT ) he can absorb others and get THERE power added to his while depending on who Buus absorbs Buu can get WEAKER!
@Razealuxe When Cell absorbs people, his power multiplies (not by the person being absorbed, though). Also, every time Cell explodes himself, he gets around 3.2x stronger. If he blew himself up once more after becoming SPC, he would have destroyed Majin Buu (he'd be weaker than Buu when he's very mad, like against SSJ3 Goku). Cell had far more potential than any other villian, include Brolly because Brolly can't regenerate from being blown up.
@Itachioftherock I also noticed it used when Trunks and Goten were fighting each other in the World Tournament, and again when Majin Vegeta fought Goku.
you guys have to remember that pikkon and the other world saga is a filler. plus pikkon wouldn;t be able to beat ultra cell when one hand ssj2 gohan evened out with him. it wouldnt make sense if pikkon was stronger than ssj2 than he would murder goku. also villains shouldnt be able to have bodies in hell. it is a filler and not part of manga i hate how people took it serious when pikkon defeated cell. but it was still amazing saga.

I think that Pikkon was actually more powerful than Goku at this point, Goku only won the otherworld tournament because he found a flaw in the Thunder Flash Attack.
I don't think Cell was beaten because he was taken by "surprise", Pikkon wasn't even being serious when he dispatched him, for one... his weighted clothing was still on which West Kai commented was "Pikkon getting serious" so i assume it boosts his Ki exponentially.
I wonder. Broly vs Pikkon. Who would win. If you think about it. Pikkon ko'd cell with just 2-3 hits which is just about the same thing broly could do at his strength. And goku wouldve lost that match had he not seen that "weakness". Oh well its a case open too be disclosed
@godofmajora Broly has LSSJ3 in raging blast so I'd say that makes a hell of a lot stronger than pikkon now. Besides, in LSSJ you don't lose speed. You only lose speed if a normal SSJ bulks up.

@zero4391 gohan wasn't ssj2 any more by the end of brolly movie because instead of one large haird strand he had 2 small ones and his energy was too low to turn ssj2. plus goku wasn't ssj2. there was no evidence that goku was ssj2 and that if goku was really there. remember there was no dragon and no one made a wish. it was probably an image of goku as symbolism just as he was shown near gohan in cell saga. in the end of brolly movie he was beat by gohan ssj1 and goten ssj1.
It's sad to say but Krillin being in the series from the beginning is more useless than a character like pikon who only had an hour screen time tops :P
@Guergy Cell knew he was stronger than goku without powering up. What he didn't know was that pikkon was already powered up and ready to help goku. Pikkon is strong but not stronger than SSJ2 Teen Gohan, who Cell just happens to be equal to.
Goku only beat him with the luck of chance that Pikkon was off gaurd for a split second (maybe less cause they're pretty fast) and this was ssj. So pikkon regardless was up there with the big dogs
in first broly film, it took the combined energy of 4 ssj's and piccolo to beat him, in the second film, it needed the energy of 3 ssj's ( its possible goku or gohan were ssj2's) fused/combined camehahas. as for the buu/broly fight, i think (kid) buu would take it eventually, but a fght id love to see :D
@054martinm if you think about it ssj3 has extream trouble with buu and the fusions are just stronger than buu but it takes a lot more power than ssj3 to fight brolly and a fusion would have trouble with brolly, not beat him with ease so if you think buu is stronger you havent been paying attention.

@Fujindansen Actually Goku needed the strength from Vegata, Gohan, Trunks, and Piccalo to defeat Broly. And when Broly returned, older Gohan wasn't a full match for him, and Older Gohan is stronger than cell. So i'd say Broly is a bit weaker than a SSJ3
@grif4life Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Piccolo weren't really that strong back then when they gave goku his power and all it needed was a punch to Broly. And when Broly returned Gohan was even weaker then when he was fighting with cell, someone said in the series that. (He didnt even defeat Dabura..).
I'm not truly sure what Broly's strenght is, but you're missing out one vital point, we are talking about the fact that Buu is stronger than Broly. And he is.

@054martinm I'll say this. When Goku fought cell, he stood up a great match, and the only reason why Goku lost is beacuse Cell can regenerate (he lost his upper half to a point blank kamehameha). While Broly on the other hand took the point blank Kamehameha like a champ and Goku didn't even stand a CHANCE! Not a single time did Goku do ANYTHING to damage Broly whatsoever. I think the second coming of Broly is a very inaccurate portrayal of Broly's power
@QouqaTube wrong. cell was holding back MOST of his power when he fought goku and was gonna slowly reveal more of it as the fight went on. plus you missed several factors. one, goku was completely drained after blasting cell but didnt look out of breath at all when he hit broly. two, cell was completely off guard whereas broly walked into it. not a single time did cell ever take goku seriously enough to use full power.
@054martinm I just watched the entire cell games the other day, Cell wasn't holding back. Gohan thought they were because Gohan himself had gotten stronger, but Cell was not holding back. Cell took Goku seriously because he thought Goku was his only challenge, why would he not take his only true challenge seriously? The Kamehameha point is legitimate, but still i don't think cell could come out unscathed like Broly did. Bottom line Broly is much stronger than cell
@QouqaTube rewatch it. cell was holding back. he didnt take goku seriously or gohan until gohan turned ssj2 then he turned up the heat and went to full power. goku was not a challenge for fp cell thats why he didnt seem worried about goku taking a senzu despite cell losing some of his stamina regeneration. the z fighters reactions imply a giant gap between cell inital and cell full power. and unlike broly, cell has special techniques to fight stronger people than him with, and self destruction.
@054martinm let me settle this. cell was being cocky near the beginning with goku, and thats why he let goku take the senzu bean. a little after, cell became more and more serious with goku when realizing he was a worthy opponent. as goku says when fighting pikkon, hes at his best when fighting stronger opponents. same with cell. against SSJ2 gohan, he went more seriously because gohan was stronger, but also when he became "perfect" perfect cell made him alot stronger. I think that Pikkon was actually more powerful than Goku at this point, Goku only won the otherworld tournament because he found a flaw in the Thunder Flash Attack.
I don't think Cell was beaten because he was taken by "surprise", Pikkon wasn't even being serious when he dispatched him, for one... his weighted clothing was still on which West Kai commented was "Pikkon getting serious" so i assume it boosts his Ki exponentially.
Very nice remix, btw.

I wonder. Broly vs Pikkon. Who would win. If you think about it. Pikkon ko'd cell with just 2-3 hits which is just about the same thing broly could do at his strength. And goku wouldve lost that match had he not seen that "weakness". Oh well its a case open too be disclosed

@godofmajora Broly has LSSJ3 in raging blast so I'd say that makes a hell of a lot stronger than pikkon now. Besides, in LSSJ you don't lose speed. You only lose speed if a normal SSJ bulks up.

Sure gohan lost some power but not by much and it took goku ssj2, (who at that point was stronger than kid gohan ssj2) teen gohan ssj2, and goten ssj to just barely overpower him which they got lucky thanks to Trunks and his lame ball of final desperation. yeah Brolly could kick frieza super perfect cell and kid buu with one hand. It would take super gogeta to put a dent in him and hes extreamely beast

@zero4391 when did ssj broly fight ssj2 gohan? please stop making things up. gohan wasnt ever ssj2 vs broly. no sparks. what do you mean just barely overpower him? once the wave hit broly it was over in 5 seconds? also goku wasnt ssj2. that form for him didnt even exist yet when the movie was made. and the movies cant make up new forms out of thin air. unless they stay non canon (fssj, lssj). you fucking fanboy. kid buu would kill broly in one punch.

I dont think you did if you thought gohan didnt go ssj2 on him, and in the 2nd movie whis was based after gokus fight with Vegeta WHICH HE WENT SSJ2 AGAINST so there as a lot of power on brolly and they got lucky. Ssj3 has a lot of power but not nearly as much as Brolly's endless power and strength. Think if brolly knew he could chanal his strenght he could become ssj3 easily, Buu is a chump.

@zero4391 gohan wasn't ssj2 any more by the end of brolly movie because instead of one large haird strand he had 2 small ones and his energy was too low to turn ssj2. plus goku wasn't ssj2. there was no evidence that goku was ssj2 and that if goku was really there. remember there was no dragon and no one made a wish. it was probably an image of goku as symbolism just as he was shown near gohan in cell saga. in the end of brolly movie he was beat by gohan ssj1 and goten ssj1.

@Guergy Cell knew he was stronger than goku without powering up. What he didn't know was that pikkon was already powered up and ready to help goku. Pikkon is strong but not stronger than SSJ2 Teen Gohan, who Cell just happens to be equal to.

in first broly film, it took the combined energy of 4 ssj's and piccolo to beat him, in the second film, it needed the energy of 3 ssj's ( its possible goku or gohan were ssj2's) fused/combined camehahas. as for the buu/broly fight, i think (kid) buu would take it eventually, but a fght id love to see :D

@054martinm if you think about it ssj3 has extream trouble with buu and the fusions are just stronger than buu but it takes a lot more power than ssj3 to fight brolly and a fusion would have trouble with brolly, not beat him with ease so if you think buu is stronger you havent been paying attention.

@Fujindansen Actually Goku needed the strength from Vegata, Gohan, Trunks, and Piccalo to defeat Broly. And when Broly returned, older Gohan wasn't a full match for him, and Older Gohan is stronger than cell. So i'd say Broly is a bit weaker than a SSJ3

@grif4life Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, Piccolo weren't really that strong back then when they gave goku his power and all it needed was a punch to Broly. And when Broly returned Gohan was even weaker then when he was fighting with cell, someone said in the series that. (He didnt even defeat Dabura..).
I'm not truly sure what Broly's strenght is, but you're missing out one vital point, we are talking about the fact that Buu is stronger than Broly. And he is.

@TheAndrewnaoum Well if even King Vegeta managed to do damage to Broly then im disappointed. Frieza killed King Vegeta like a dog. Besides, that still doesnt fully explain why Broly gets destroyed by a kamehameha with 3 saiyans. I'm sorry, but spirit bomb is way stronger than kamehameha.
Broly is just mildly strong, there is no real proof of his power.. :/

@kakarotandbrolly Goku at ssj3 was on par with Kid Buu, but when he showed up to save Gohan he was afraid to fight Super Buu. You can tell by how he wasn't going head on, if he did he would have died.

@054martinm I'll say this. When Goku fought cell, he stood up a great match, and the only reason why Goku lost is beacuse Cell can regenerate (he lost his upper half to a point blank kamehameha). While Broly on the other hand took the point blank Kamehameha like a champ and Goku didn't even stand a CHANCE! Not a single time did Goku do ANYTHING to damage Broly whatsoever. I think the second coming of Broly is a very inaccurate portrayal of Broly's power

@QouqaTube wrong. cell was holding back MOST of his power when he fought goku and was gonna slowly reveal more of it as the fight went on. plus you missed several factors. one, goku was completely drained after blasting cell but didnt look out of breath at all when he hit broly. two, cell was completely off guard whereas broly walked into it. not a single time did cell ever take goku seriously enough to use full power.

@054martinm I just watched the entire cell games the other day, Cell wasn't holding back. Gohan thought they were because Gohan himself had gotten stronger, but Cell was not holding back. Cell took Goku seriously because he thought Goku was his only challenge, why would he not take his only true challenge seriously? The Kamehameha point is legitimate, but still i don't think cell could come out unscathed like Broly did. Bottom line Broly is much stronger than cell

@QouqaTube rewatch it. cell was holding back. he didnt take goku seriously or gohan until gohan turned ssj2 then he turned up the heat and went to full power. goku was not a challenge for fp cell thats why he didnt seem worried about goku taking a senzu despite cell losing some of his stamina regeneration. the z fighters reactions imply a giant gap between cell inital and cell full power. and unlike broly, cell has special techniques to fight stronger people than him with, and self destruction.

@054martinm let me settle this. cell was being cocky near the beginning with goku, and thats why he let goku take the senzu bean. a little after, cell became more and more serious with goku when realizing he was a worthy opponent. as goku says when fighting pikkon, hes at his best when fighting stronger opponents. same with cell. against SSJ2 gohan, he went more seriously because gohan was stronger, but also when he became "perfect" perfect cell made him alot stronger. Broly > Cell
