  • should this be baked in the oven?

  • @flyingmoomoo No, you eat it raw.

  • @flyingmoomoo I'd try one raw and then try some baked too. Baking it would not only crisp the prosciutto but it would soften the pear... Mmmmm

  • @leviandurai1232 i think a crisp pear gives great texture. that's the whole point of using pears.

  • I think even I can make this...Looks great!!!!

  • OK that makes sense....will use my homemade Red Pepper Jelly and plan to serve them at a family gathering tomorrow . Thanks again Jason !! Happy Holidays to you and yours !!!

  • What a great but simple recipe ! Wondering if I could melt the jam in the microwave then dip the cut edge of the pear in it before wrapping in the proscuitto...it would keep the pear from browning & avoid the squishing out of the jam ..maybe soiling the eaters outfit?

  • @mukwah1111 Thanks! The jam is very soft, and you just put on a little bit. It soaks up into the pear and is covered by the prosciutto. I think the jam would melt too much in the micro. Hope you enjoy it!

  • "anything wrapped in prosciutto has to be good"

    Ain't that the truth!

  • Is Peosciutto made of pig or cow?

    Thank you.

  • @CasualLuxuries

Hello. It is Italian for ham. Prosciutto it is not cooked ham but cured and is served very thinly sliced.

  • Nice!

  • @mes5961 Thanks!

  • Looks yummy.

  • Waouh terrific!

  • @MyVoicenotSilenced You are better off just letting it sit out to get to room temperature as opposed to microwaving it.

  • asian pears are bomb. i wonder why they don't have it in american grocery stores.

  • @tupark82 they dont travel well. they bruise.

  • @MyVoicenotSilenced do not microwave anything....

  • that looks like the "french fries and icecream" combo at like dairy queen or something looks wierd but going to try them some time

  • @francocrs It's an unusual combination, but the sweet and salty flavors work well together.

  • lightly sprinkle a bit of salt over the pears and let some of othe water leach out. The flavour would be better..

  • nice, I love little things :)

  • @golddigger0325 Thanks! Enjoy!

  • Definitely gonna try these sometime! :D

  • @neoka28 Hope you enjoy it! It's very easy, and tasty!
