@1000whitedusts Dunno how much you're into maths and I don't know how to translate things properly, so I'll explain it simply. Max level is 255 and he level him up to 256, but since it's "over the limit" it started again as level 0 (it's modulo 256 operation, so whenever you hit 256 the counting restarts)

If you're curious about "why 255?" it's because 1 bit has 256 different values from 0-255. Well, but might be wrong since it's my theory with which I was checking if everything makes sense here

@tazabrat You don't need a special name to encounter missingno......Best cheat in the game is the 6th slot cheat. Talk to the old man in Viridian and the fly to Fuschia. Surf to Seafoam Islands and surf along its border. You will encounter Pokemon M, which looks just like Missingno. Run from it. Whatever item you have in the 6th slot on your list you will now have 99 of. I did it for Master Ball and Rare Candy.

Basically when you do use fly right in the instant another trainer notices you, your memory fucks up and Missigno appears. Sometimes it's missigno, others the professor Oak... But it's a memory error. Nothing else.

The mewto in this video looks gamesharked, rather than glitched up.

@xxmago No, what happens is, his in game name was something like MxMdXd or some shit, and when the old man battles his name is replaced but they need somewhere to store it, so they go to the empty part of the map (even go to that bit and go up and down it you will never encounter a pokemon) however since his name has that cell it means that now that it is stored there the only pokemon able to find there would be that pokemon, in this case; mewtwo. It's legit I've done it countless times.

So when you encounter a MIssingno the sixth item in your slots is duplicated so you get like 150 of em or something like that? Also does Missingno only appear once you encountered your level 184 (183 or what ever level it may be) Pokemon, based on your name?

@XxMrmoneyKing There are 2 bits allocated to every pokemon in the pokedex to represent if you have seen the pokemon or not (0 if you havent or 1 if you have) and if you have caught the pokemon (0 if you havent or 1 if you have). For instance if you have seen a bulbasaur but never caught one, the game would store 10 in the bulbasaur "slot". Because missingno doesnt have a legitimate "slot" in the pokedex, its "slot" overlaps the memory that holds your 6th item info.... cont.

@XxMrmoneyKing (2nd part)..... because you have now "seen" missingno, the game wants to update by changing the "seen" bit value from 0 to 1. As said, missingno's seen/caught memory overlaps the num of 6th items- the effect: if you had 0000 0001 (1 in decimal) masterballs, youll have 1000 0001 masterballs (129 in decimal). This also means if you catch the missing no, youll have 1100 0001 masterballs (193 masterballs) but catching a missingno will glitch your game so dont do it!

I bought a Pokémon Blue that had Mewtwo in it. Greatest mistake I made. The only thing bad was that Missingno. (the previously saved file didn't have one, although it is possible he had one, and the Pokémon are kind of jacked up, so are some roads), but really, I am pretty sure this does not hurt your game. Perhaps kills the volume, but that could've just been the Game Boy Color. Anyways, this glitch is really cool, and Mewtwo is my main Pokémon, around level 150 or so, rare candy time...?
