I don't think there is really an "old Nelly", "new Nelly" issue. She's an artist, and she is evolving, just like any good artist should. I never used to like her. Ithought that she was just some kid with nothing to say. I realize now that I was wrong. Kudos to you Nelly. In a world of sell outs you have stayed true to your own style. Kudos. The gross reality of today is that sex sells.

She has used her sex appeal, but has not done what so many artists have done, and relied on it. Sure permiscuos was all about her sex appeal, but there are songs like this and "All Good Things" that draw appeal for her by being classy not an uber-skank.

I was a fan of every song so far to date that Nelly Furtado has put out.. I really loved the originality and heart she put into her music. I also LOVE the song "give it to me".. I like her stuff now, but wish I could hear more of her older style as well
