When we say Son of God , we believe that Christ is Gods word , ie God -- thats why the word took flesh and became man. God is not a man nor does He have a son Physiclly but we call him the Son because He is the Word of God incarnate.

for slavery for example, The prophet said: to call the slaves, daughter or son but not call them my slave. then releasing slaves was an act for asking forgiveness from God but at the end, Islam "Quran and Sunnah" said there is no difference between people (rich, poor, black, white, arab, non arab, ec..) except by the piety, it means that slavery was forbidden.
