  • Like it!

  • @skrabula thank you! :)

  • It can be seen that Chad Smith has affected your drumming style. All that "jumping" while playing ;D But it's cool, Smith is my favourite drummer right after Ian Paice

  • @turtsimarupale ! :) Cool! Chad´s BEST! :)

  • Dancing to the beat of the music, i like it :D

  • @igna97100 :P NOT! :)

  • Dude, Is that a CrashRide or A ride? Its kinda small for a ride... 18 CrashRide?

  • @brianmadmaxsy it´s a 20" RockRide :)

  • May I ask about your eggtrays, are they really effective for soundproofing? Which part of the room are you placing them?

  • @brianmadmaxsy this clip is bit old... so there are no more eggtrays... :P

if you got enough of em... it´ll help a little bit... but foam is better! :)

  • Look on the wall xD

  • Me encanta lo sacado que eres para tocar ♥

  • @SunKing0903 <3 ! THANK YOU! :)

  • 16 people suck !

  • Really awesome dude. Something you may like/may want to use: at the start of each phrase, play h-h-s-h ("h" being hi hat and "s" being snare) it kind of adds a chunky-er feel to the phrase! Just a healthy alternative you may want to adopt :) Either way, great cover, real tight. Keep playing! \ o /

  • @Ledhead90210 thank you mate! thanks for the tip! cool thing!!! :)

  • Too much emotion i think :/

  • @SubocReteigtop what exactly do you mean?

  • @drumfreak125 Always moving, jumping on the music^^

  • Comment removed

  • @SubocReteigtop Theres never to much emotions when you play drums XD

  • @xXsputnicXx Yeah i think too but...

  • @SubocReteigtop its called style, theres nothin wrong with it u should jus get out more im opretty sure ull get it

  • @SubocReteigtop Bro, No offense, do you know anything about drums? :D

  • @brianmadmaxsy actually, yes^^. You can be moved without being like that :)

  • @SubocReteigtop Theres never enough emotion.

  • @SubocReteigtop I think the emotion is brilliant, shows his love for the instrument greatly, top job mate, keep it up!

  • Very good cover, loving the fills at 3:10 - 3:22 particularly, keep it up!

  • @MrHarry634 Thanks a lot!!! :)

  • @drumfreak125 I f****** love this cover! I'm actually trying to learn exactly what you're playing. It isn't as easy as it looks like. :/

  • You are totally awesome... you REALLY rock, someday i'll be able to play it that way.. in like a million years!!!!

  • @Pensacolaforyou Thanks a looooot! :D aww... just figure it out! You´ll get it! :)

  • @danthegtaman2 thank you very much mate! :) i just heard it a thousand times... doing all by ear! again and again... that´s all! Listen to chad! :P

  • that snare looks just like mine

  • @TheWhitealbum22 CS Siganture? :)

  • this is the first cover ive seen where someone plays the ghost notes correctly

  • @metarocks81 :) thanks. hope you liked it! :)

  • try to put some emphasis in the ghost note on beat 3, rather than that this is perfectc!

  • @XXxxRONNYxxXX what exactly do you mean with that? :) thanks mate!

  • @drumfreak125 never mind anyways great cover!:D

  • are you the son of chad smith?! haha the way you move, beat, the entire drum style, it's just CHAD SMITH! haha

  • It's amazing how the drumin can sound so good when you are shaking/jolting like that

  • @JamieMacManus i just got into the habit of shaking like that... don´t know... it´s just like... im kind of dancing to the music to feel the rythm in it you know? :P thanks for your comment! :)

  • hey dude!! just one thing that i cant catch it! is that a paiste pst3 or pst5 ride?? looks like a+st5 for me!! aha!! good grabbin mate!

  • @ClaymanVish hey! yeah its a 20" pst5 rock ride! :) thank you very much!

  • Hey!

Is that a Chad Smith snare you're using?

I bought one from Ebay a few weeks ago, was just wondering how you got that "pop" sound from your snare?

Sounds good! And keep up the good work!

  • @spikeyo Hey! :) Yes it´s the CS Signature with Remo CS with black dot drumhead on top! Just try out different tunings and heads to go for your own sound! :)

  • No worries!

Do you tighten the reso head underneath or the batter head for the high-pitched "pop" sound?

I will play with the tuning tomorrow and see what I can do with it!

    Thanks mate! :)

  • @spikeyo No problem mate! You´re welcome! :) I´m glad i can help some people! That´s great!

I tighten both of them really hard i think... about 2,5-3 full rotations and try to get the upside nearly the same as the bottom! After it you can do the fine tunings on top. Hope you´ll get it work! :)

  • @spikeyo Ah... Thank you very much by the way!!! :P

  • Die Legende der Peppers !

Ich habe die selbe Snare du und bin absolut zufrieden damit. Sie Knallt richtig geil

  • @TheNewChadSmith Yeah! :) Klar, mit dem richtigen Tuning läuft da was! :]

  • I think it was a perfect cover . !!!! Also u have a nice style drum playing

  • @Bithikotsis7 Thank you very much!!!! :)) Appreciated! :]

  • Good cover, but what kind of head is on your snare?

  • @prometallero Thank you! :) It´s a Remo CS with black dot. :]

  • This is a great cover :) I like the bell-playing (if that's the term). I'm not much of a drummer, even though a mate teaches me, but your kit looks quite cramped. Is there a reason for that, or am I being silly?

  • @iwishiwastaller7 Thank you very much first! :)) Does it really look cramped? It was just the most comfortable setting up for me! :o Maybe it´s just the view angle? :P You´re not silly i guess! :D

  • @drumfreak125 I think it must be the view :) keep up the good work!

  • what kinds of heads on the toms?

  • @austinguitarist7074 Remo Emperor Clear on top Ambassador at the bottom! ;)

  • I notice your drums are toned down alot and ring very little, I have a mapex meridian birch which I love but cant get the overpowering ringing away even with evans e rings, does anyone have any tips of how to help this problem???

  • You're very good ;)

  • the way you move while playing reminds me of Chad Smith, and it fits so good with your awesome cover. good job, and very nice improv at the end :D

  • @DireStraitsDrummer95 thank you very much mate! :)) appreciated

  • @drumfreak125 your awesome :>

  • @Nitram916 Thank youuuuuuu! :P

  • well played, you're a good drummer ;) but I have to say that your style doesn't really fit to the song. the song is some kinda relaxing but you play it very powerful.

  • @NintendoFanatic123 thank you! yeah... i know i play very powerful at all. but maybe it looks like there is more power as i put in. don´t know... :) thanks though!

  • FUCKIN SICK DUDE :D

  • @218duncan Thanks a loooooot !!! :P

  • I dont like your Refrain. It sound´s, sorry, shit ! But you are a awesome Drummer ! Very Nice :)

  • @aPlaceInYourHead Haha ^^ Thanks! I think you´re one of the few who don´t like the ride bell in the chorus right? :) It´s true! That´s not like Chad plays it exactly... and i really don´t know why i did it in this record. I really don´t know. I just did it. ^^

  • muy bueno!!!!!!!,

  • @nombredelusuariojuan graciaaaas!!! :))))))

  • Good cover but it's like a drum improvisation with all the fills ;-)

  • @TrancecoreOpfa yes... i just wanted to put a little bit of me in this. :) thank you!! :]

  • you have chad smiths style :) great cover man

  • @darkhell227 :D!!! thanks a loooot! :))

  • @joemetal555 Hey thanks mate! :) I record my Vids with a Lumix Tz10 Panasonic. The Sabian xs20 splash is a 10" sized. Hope i could help! :)

  • pta ke basura, ya me desmoralize... really good cover dude, actually im switching from base guitar to drums, so.. i expect i could play like you =D maybe in few years :)

  • @prioridadconfusa try you´re best! :) it´s hard and long training of course... i grew up with playing the drums! :)

  • classic chad smith china set up vertically, awesome dude

  • your set-up is close to Chad's....nice!

  • @kandem360 yes... that´s absolutely right! :P thanks! :)

  • @drumfreak125 sub'd

  • LOL, holy shit. How are you listening to the music? I mean, because it sounds quality, like you were wearing headphones/not coming out of a speaker, but I don't see any headphones.

    Fantastic cover BTW. :)

  • @SexyJowdan haha ^^ i hardly listen to the songs before i play them... more and more to figure out whats going on in the song... but yeah... hearing it when playing is also important... i just heard the music through the speakers in this video... in all of my videos i guess... :) Thanks a lot mate! :)

  • Na der kann was xD und auch lustige bewegung ;)

  • @Meyaf ^^ ... Ja mei... so is das halt. :P

  • very nice..!!!!! showw

  • @anitadrummer thank you!!! :))

  • good cover, how long do you play drums? I'm beginner in drums, and I like RHCP songs, so maybe you have some tips (for newbie) how to play covers like you? ;) any help will be good for me

  • @k1tay i play drums for over 14 years now. :) you just have to play as often as you can! play to songs you like... more and more... and play them by ear... hear all the fine fills and grooves out of a track and you gotta get it in time! :)

  • @k1tay ive been playing for about 3 weeks and i already got this song, just do timing exercises and practice ghost notes and youll get it in about 3 days

  • Nice cover :)

  • @menuliiss thank youuuu! :))

  • do you are epilectic?

  • @JEKKY90 i am not! i just try to feel the song! ;)

  • 0:36 haha, mistake :p

  • @Nerkan5 hmm... no ^^

  • you have feelling, and thats great, awesome cover man =)

  • @Sard1Nycold1 thank you man! appreciated! :)

  • 1:32 ..awesome part begins :D

  • @crys23drumboy huh :D

  • Wow, 0.48 sounds deadly

  • @alconaftika ^^ thanks

  • great playin but if you can just catch the rim of the snare on your back beats it will sound perfect, if you watch Chad you will see that this is what he does. rim shots are a great way to get a difference in sound as well as volume between the ghost notes and the back beat, please don't take this as a negative comment cause your playin is great, it's just a tip, cheers Adam

  • @170adamb thank you! :) i like tips and comments like that! that´s just some help how other want to see it to be played or how i could get this better! thank you mate! :]

  • you even have the chad smith style. haha wicked job bro. :)
