Compare these with this 15 year old's performance! Even at 5 Silvia Moreno knew more about Flamenco, "Duende" and how to use her high heeled flamenco shoes than 15 year old Krystal does!

Pobresita nina. In regards to her dancing "Flamenco" Krystal needs to recognize what is truly flamenco dancing. Try looking up the most talented Spanish dancer & compare her dancing with your's. There isn't any. Her name is Sara Baras. She's here also on youtube. Real flamenco dancing & real music that IS suppose to go with it. I myself am Spaniard & my girls have been dancing for years! Best wishes & keep studying the cultural & keep practicing. Ave Maria not a good choice for flamenco.

This isn't even real flamenco. Just doing flamenco movement to music. And there is a rumba rhythm in flamenco, it's usually more upbeat and fun, but this song isn't it.
And that was just in case you thought this rumba was going to be ballroom rumba, which I agree is COMPLETELY different.

Ouch. One of the great things about flamenco is that it can be done at nearly any size- as long as you have the technique and musicality. I think Krystal looks great and her weight doesn't distract from her dancing at all. Weight should be a health concern, not aesthetic when her dancing is fabulous.
She is so proud of who she herself is and she does not care how the others critize her. She is really brave and enthusiastic. So some people can stop critizing her and instead start appreciating her bravery and enthusiasm

I think constructive criticism would be more helpful then calling her a clown. The info attached says she has been dancing since the age of 2, it may not necessarily be in Flamenco. She also has a teacher, so they should be the ones to blame not her. She can only use what she is given and if she has not been given the right tools, then it's not her fault. Krystal, you do have stage good presence and arms and definitely have potential. Keep working hard!!!

This is not rumba, is not buleria, and certainly not flamenco. She does have an air of classic bolera school I think she might dance very well flamenco just leave the US girl, buy a ticket to Spain and sweat really at any academia in España
No, no es rumba, ni la cancion ni tu baile, tienes buenos brazos, te sugiero que tomes clases de flamenco, es difícil la tarea y requiere de tiempo, ánimo, paciencia y mucha disposición, a veces los temas que escuchamos nos gustan y creemos que los podemos llevar al flamenco, no te lo recomiendo, generalmente nos equivocamos, si no tenemos la experiencia, el dominio de la técnica y el conocimiento de los estilos de baile,lo digo con respeto
honey you are okay but i cant believe you dance proffesionally. come to santa Barbara California for fiesta and watch other 15 year olds dance more difficult material. You have potential to be really good, you just need to learn outside of texas or where ever you are learning. Dancing to David Bisbal is not the way, to commercial. your level in this dance is seen on 5-7 year olds in santa barbara.

she dances ok, but i may say,, I hacve been dancing since i am 6 years old ballet, jazz, and flamancoo,, i am 15 years old now and she is missing steps, she has good arm movemement but all her steps are the same, apart from that she dances really well

Principalmente yo soy bailarina y tenog 16 años, esto hace unos 2 años que se ha publicado, y espero que esta chica haya mejorado.
Bailar lo que es bailar baila bien... pero nose quizas le falta mucha tecnica. Yo llevo mis 7 años en el conservatorio no es que sea una gran bailarina pero estio en 3º de gardo profesional y me quedan solo 3 años para teminar el grado medio luego al superior.
I am a flamenco dancer myself, and I can tell the she really enjoys what she is doing. She looks beautiful and happy...the floreo is great! Keep working hard flamenca!
She feels the music, and thats the main thing. I'd rather see that than someone whos had decades of training at the most expensive dance school but who doesnt have a passion for the music and dance.

Krystal you've got lots of energy & your gorgeous... just make sure you take a look at gypsies when they dance rumba... there's an ease and a reserve that's unmistakable, as well as a certain precision. Also watch the footwork & arms and make sure you don't over-do something that should be more subtle. Alot of what you're doing is looking like flailing --no offense... you're on the right track tho! just keep watching & maturing :)

I think constructive criticism would be more helpful then calling her a clown. The info attached says she has been dancing since the age of 2, it may not necessarily be in Flamenco. She also has a teacher, so they should be the ones to blame not her. She can only use what she is given and if she has not been given the right tools, then it's not her fault. Krystal, you do have stage good presence and arms and definitely have potential. Keep working hard!!!

For rumba flamenca music, I recommend groups like Pata Negra or Barí. 'Majiwi' or 'A Tu Vera' by the Gypsy Kings are also a good ones.

In flamenca there's a type of rythm called "rumba flamenca"... you don't need a partner...

Porq sois tan crueles?? No es pa tanto.. encima ella tiene 15 años..Se ve q le gusta la musica y el baile (como a mi) y como es arte, tiene q tener su libertad d bailar como ella quiere,como sienta el ritmo. Ha mi no me gustan las coreografias hechas y las reglas. Weno, la tecnica es buena para aprender algunos movimientos o pasos y q las puedes utilizar cuando quieras. Lo que estoy d acuerdo con los d mas, es q Bisbal aqui no encuaja mucho sabes, asi q toma mejor alguna flamenquilla ;) saludos

This is not rumba, is not buleria, and certainly not flamenco. She does have an air of classic bolera school I think she might dance very well flamenco just leave the US girl, buy a ticket to Spain and sweat really at any academia in España

No, no es rumba, ni la cancion ni tu baile, tienes buenos brazos, te sugiero que tomes clases de flamenco, es difícil la tarea y requiere de tiempo, ánimo, paciencia y mucha disposición, a veces los temas que escuchamos nos gustan y creemos que los podemos llevar al flamenco, no te lo recomiendo, generalmente nos equivocamos, si no tenemos la experiencia, el dominio de la técnica y el conocimiento de los estilos de baile,lo digo con respeto

honey you are okay but i cant believe you dance proffesionally. come to santa Barbara California for fiesta and watch other 15 year olds dance more difficult material. You have potential to be really good, you just need to learn outside of texas or where ever you are learning. Dancing to David Bisbal is not the way, to commercial. your level in this dance is seen on 5-7 year olds in santa barbara.

Yo llevo 7 años en un conservatorio y las grandes bailarinas suelen salir de conservatorios, como el conservatorio de madrid. Vale no todo el mundo puede ir a conservatorios i aun asi se lees coonce si, pero necesitas una vase y la vase tiene que ser buena, habra academias como la de mi antiguo profesor de flamenco que son buenas porque son personas que saven.

she dances ok, but i may say,, I hacve been dancing since i am 6 years old ballet, jazz, and flamancoo,, i am 15 years old now and she is missing steps, she has good arm movemement but all her steps are the same, apart from that she dances really well

Krystal, you are a beautiful and graceful dancer. Since when is Flamenco only for the slim and slender. At family gatherings, everyone dances, young, old, thin and not so thin. We are so used to the emaciated images that come across our TV screens and magazines that we think everyone should look like Barbie! Principalmente yo soy bailarina y tenog 16 años, esto hace unos 2 años que se ha publicado, y espero que esta chica haya mejorado.
Bailar lo que es bailar baila bien... pero nose quizas le falta mucha tecnica. Yo llevo mis 7 años en el conservatorio no es que sea una gran bailarina pero estio en 3º de gardo profesional y me quedan solo 3 años para teminar el grado medio luego al superior.

She feels the music, and thats the main thing. I'd rather see that than someone whos had decades of training at the most expensive dance school but who doesnt have a passion for the music and dance.

She probably does a lot better than most of you, she probably has more of a better paying future career than most of you, and she's probably far from fat compared to most of you, so shut up unless she gave you rights to put her down!! As for the performance, I'll say it's hard to do a style of dance to a different style of music, and you pulled it off just great! Good job!

Are you freaking kidding me -- fat ?! I thought she was beautiful, energetic and charismatic with wonderful sage presence. While I don't know anything about flamenco or rhumba, I can tell you she has more dancer's spirit and grace than half the dancers I've seen. It was a very entertaining and enjoyable performance. Krystal you've got lots of energy & your gorgeous... just make sure you take a look at gypsies when they dance rumba... there's an ease and a reserve that's unmistakable, as well as a certain precision. Also watch the footwork & arms and make sure you don't over-do something that should be more subtle. Alot of what you're doing is looking like flailing --no offense... you're on the right track tho! just keep watching & maturing :)
