Funny how if the Mufti was directly challenged by any ignorant claiming to "prove" how he is wrong, the Mufti would destroy him. Thus the reason PseudoSalafis use internet and other mediums to indoctrinate the minds of those who are not well-versed in these discussions.

Mulla Ali Qaaree Hanafee RA said,

“Allaah has not obligated upon anyone that he become a hanafee, shaafi'ee, maalikee or a hanbalee, rather Allaah has obligated action upon the sunnah of the Messenger of Allaah (Sallalahu Alayhee Was-Sallam) upon everyone." (Sharh Ain al-Ilm (p.326).

@choudry1231 And yet, Mulla Ali Qaaree (RA) followed (did taqleed) of the Hanafi maddhab. Imam Nawawi (RA) followed the Shafi'i maddhab. Imam Suyuti (RA) followed the Shafi'i maddhab. Hafiz ibn Hajar Al-Asqalani (RA) followed the Shafi'i maddhab. Ibn Rajab (RA) followed the Hanbali maddhab. Imam Qurtubi (RA) followed the Maliki maddhab. Shaykh Sahnun (RA) followed the Maliki maddhab. Ibn Rushd (Averroes), Ibn Batuta, and Ibn Khaldun all followed the Maliki maddhab.

@choudry1231 In reality, the overwhelming majority of scholars (and virtually all Muslims) of the past 1,400 years followed a *single* maddhab. Only about 200 years ago, a group in the Najd area of Saudi Arabia arose claiming that the masses do not need to follow (do taqleed of) a single maddhab, giving rise to the confusion today.

If anyone has doubts on this matter, they may read "The Legal Status of Following A Maddhab" by Mufti Taqi Uthmaani. (Just Google it; it can be read online.)
