I've seen clips detailing the whole Pacey/Joey saga and I thought they looked like a pretty neat couple. Then I watched the series for the first time and realized that Pacey/Andie were soooooo much better and a helluva lot more interesting. I HATE what they did to this couple in season 3 (how it ended especially) but I appreciate that a strong friendship was made from it all the way to the end.

joey is annoying, pouty, pissy, brooding, self pitying, annoying. andie was good and upbeat and tried to bring out the best in people in spite of being nuts. i thought it was stupid the way they wrote her having sex with some random guy so they could justify pacey giving up on her totally, so they could spice things up with the convoluted twist of creating the pacey,joey,dawson triangle. its contrived and killed the series for me.

At :57 will be my favorite P/A scene ever. I may be crazy for saying this but just the look on Josh's face when he sees Andie makes me think that Josh didn't know Meredith would be in this episode hence his reaction.

I remember hearing that Kevin Williamson didn't like what Paul Stupin did with Andie Season 3+ And I couldn't agree more. IMO Kevin had to know that Pacey and Andie were meant to be together. But I guess he knew the popularity of P&J, which I was NOT a part of.

@christytina81 I don't think that's true as Katie was his closest friend on set,even after they broke up...and apparently he was the one who suggested they didn't bring Andie back together with Pacey if there had been a dawson/Joey finale as he thought Andie would have been a "consolation prize" for Pacey after everything.

...but neither stories could be true,who knows??

Pandie were the only reason I watched the bloody show, they seemed such a real couple, I thought they were dating in real life!!!

Yea, it's understandable that his character would breakup with her after that. But I feel that whole storyline was so contrived! Andie was completely in love with him! And he was the only guy she'd slept with, so I don't think she would have had sex with someone else. I mean, so she's done it with 1 guy suddenly she gets horny. I feel they just wanted to end the relationship but they could have done it better than that. They were a great couple though. Pacey's relationships were always the best.
