I think the problem is that the indigenous people of Britain don't have a separate name for themselves, because this massive immigration is such a new concept. So that is my dilema if they are totally correct (which I don't believe them to be). Race or where you were born has no bearing on whether you should be allowed to associate yourself with a country. I'm proud of my family's heritage and I see no reason why I can't consider myself to be Irish or even British for that matter. I bet those youth have no idea about most of the 40,000 years of history they drone on about.
I would like to know what is the culture they want to protect

@MechriteValcor Well civic in my mind just means "of or relating to a citizen, a city, citizenship, or community affairs" and by this definition civil, civil homeland would merely mean the country of citizenship but not where the history of the blood is - that is the ethnic homeland.
I'm nonly living in New Zealand because I was born here, I do not particularly like the government of this country - it's far too liberal.

The origins of my family are British and Irish but I was born and live in New Zealand (formerly part of the British Empire), so I have a bit of a problem if their views are correct. Am I an ethnic New Zealander? - well according to their views no because I have no extended history in NZ. Am I British or Irish? - According to them no even though my family has heritage there I was not born there

I think the problem is that the indigenous people of Britain don't have a separate name for themselves, because this massive immigration is such a new concept. It confuses people because Britain is the name of the country. But look at somewhere like New Zealand. The indigenous people have their own special name, the Maori. Maori is only ever an ethnic description. Where as "New Zealander" is ambiguous. Look at Germans. Germans were called German long before the country Germany existed.

By doing a DNA test you can trace yours. A good example would be the Romans. Not only a diverse multicutural society, but one that came and brought genes from all around europe frica and parts of asia. One reason for dark hair in our society is this, so i would place a large bet that Mark ancestors were not all from the UK by ethnicity.

If you want to use another analogy from the animal kingdom the other races could be compared to different 'breeds' of dogs for example you have collies, rottweilers, Yorkshire terriers, etc. No one would try to argue that a Yorkshire terrier isn't a different breed to a rottweiler so why do some people argue that the different human races aren't different when they quite clearly are? If you accept that we should preserve different breeds of animal i.e. the red squirrel from extinction, you should also accept the same for the indigenous British.
