is that the StarMax127? i absolutely love that mak scope from Orion. i have the 102 model and i can tell you is by far the favorite. its size and optical capabilities fit one's needs for observing quality and portability. and those full aperture glass solar filters you have give a very nice image of our yellow day star. very nice clip ;)

when projecting the sun through the binoculars, you can also use the same trick of alignment of the binoculars to the sun by using its shadow as a guide

Dear ishouldplayzelda: See your local astronomy clubs and star parties. The solar filters you see through here in the video are not innexpensive toys. They are serious instruments that range from at least $100 for a simple white light filter and up to over several thousand dollars for the h-alpha filters made by Coronado. Also see artwork featured in NASA sites rather than photos that many produce from observations through the eyepiece- Search my name Mark Seibold for Facebook and my websites.
