honestly........you only need to get sprockets if you are gonna do wheelies in 2nd and up. i have a 600.. i can pull wheelies all the way to 80mph in first. dont waste your money. learn to do a wheelie..then maybe gets sprockets...just sayin. not hatin
This isn't my bike. I'm riding my friends gsxr in this video. He had to replace his sprocket b/c it was starting to warn down. That was his choice to buy the 520 kit, not mine. But in time, if you keep riding your wheelies untill you redline your going to notice how hard it is on your bike. Doing that really takes a toll on your motorcycle. Besideds 520 kit is a lot more fun.
Yeah this kit is a vortex 520 conversion kit with -1 front sprocket and +2 rear sprocket. As you were mentioning, if you already have -1 in the front then going +2 to the rear wouldn't be a bad idea. You would defiantly notice the increased acceleration off the line.
Umm a 750cc is not necessarily faster than a 600.... But yeah the new sprocket made a HUGE difference in speed, mostly acceleration. It was doing about 0-60mph in 3.5, now its doing 0-60mph at about 2.5 seconds or so.

Ive -1 front (15) and stock 45 rear on my k4 600, and its a little faster. I am sourcing a 47 rear for more acceleration/torque.
