  • Cult = Great....>......Crowd = Lousy (lol)....

  • Thanks for posting, Ken Sa-late

  • fuckin' lousy crowd,,its a great band,,its a rock n roll concert not a pavarotti concert u faggs..

  • pure rock, must be one of the best endings to any song

  • These guys just fucking melt!

  • IANNNNNNN = sexiest Man alive!

I've seen The Cult 3 times. Every show was GREAT~!

This last show in September 2010 was by far the best though CFFC~!

  • This was filmed in '99 ??

  • Holy shit, that's the best I've ever heard him sing live. Is there anywhere you can get their whole performance. Please let me know.

  • Starme up seems but..the energy is different...most Cult..!

  • I love his tongue... That's fu*king sexy!

  • What a lame ass crowd. I would have been up next to Ian Astbury when he got into the crowd.

  • BEST HARD ROCK BAND

  • to bad the crowd had no idea they were witnessing one of the greatest rock bands ever.

  • Billy Duffy! Stop BITCH!! Texas loves you MF!!!

  • his like jim morrison

  • Actually, Ian is 38 here...this is the first concert the Cult played to begin their return...on the Cult Rising Tour...arguably at their best here

  • the singer was 44 year old...amazing !

  • lol weak crowd

  • yeah like the main ladyboy mikey jackson and that shit music he started. all the syncro dance turd shows... madonna etc and then the hip hop mierda...

  • Liquidazot:

Please don't say that. They are one of the greatest rock band in the world!

I have a Cult tattoo in my right shoulder! I love them very much!!!

  • IF u think they suck twice then WTF r u doin watchin them? ya can't get enough...

  • It's a sus4 chord (twice) instead of a 6sus4 aka I/IV and the accents are different, otherwise I hear ya. The other was Wild Flower a more direct ripoff of AC/DC's Rock and Roll Singer. They make a different song of it and Ian does a different melody and chorus. The rest is a different effort. Do the Stones measure up?

  • Unreal song/performance/band/everything

    The Cult kicks ass. period.

  • y pensar que hay gente que le gusta el reggeaton!!! esto es musica. THIS IS WHAT PERFOMING IS ABOUT

  • fur .king, good band..!

  • hell yeah!!

  • Focking rockin'.....Yeeeeah...!

  • Aside from rocking the joint, these guys looked liked true rock stars. I'm sorry, but long hair, leather and boots make a powerful statement. Rock n roll should look as aggressive, primal and stylish as it sounds. The rock of today is just pansy boy lame with no element of danger or sensuality. God, I miss the 80s and 90s.

  • Me too my friend. This is Rock'N'Roll as good as it gets.

  • I agree! Rock is about kicking ass not pitch perfect lip syncing and choreography. if a hot young female pop star comes on I just turn down the tv volume put on a Led Zep CD. today's music is useless!

  • Absolutely fucking 100% agreed!

  • You got rite! I hate that emo whiney shit of today!

  • Right On bro!

  • I agree bros! I'm sick of all that emo, milicirrus, ladyboy...etc shit!

Rock is the essence of life! As you said :"Rock n roll should look as aggressive, primal and stylish as it sounds. "

  • Ian Astbury/The Cult Synchronicity Lives! Baybee!

  • this kickin song hit the charts in 1987

  • HELL FUCKIN YEAH !!!!!

  • rock n' roll that more!!!!

    sebAS

  • CFFC!

  • ´´the god of rock wake up us´´

  • They've definitely still got it.

  • the guitar player looks like sting lol

  • Diving to High School in the morning in the 80's. BLASTING Love Removal machine Smokin' cigarettes.

VW Cal Bug lowered, flippin through a Hot VW magazine

    Northern California All the Way

    The Great Life

  • Sounds great, how I yearn for the late 80's youth!

  • ocfixed, thanks for that awesome image! Nowadays, kids just blast Lil Crap and other bullshit and act like the Gotti Boys!!! Pathetic. God, bring back true rock n' roll!

  • Simple and powerful.

    Eficient and rebelious.

    Hard rock will never die!

  • Hahaha! Ian's the best! People were to quiet thou. In South America we would have gone craaaaazyyyy with that ending man!!!! Vamos The Cult todavia!

  • i am dancing, too!

  • thank god for the internet or it wouldnt be so easy to rock out with the cult live....CFFC

  • ditto! I'm dancing now!

  • Talking about love! Love remover! Talking about love! Love remover machine! Everyime I get on youtube I have to watch this video.

  • i notice some ppl talking about gnr and y they were more sucesful than the cult, ive pondered this myself but ive heard an excuse being slashs guitar, but honestly if any of u have ever listened to ceremony, and in cases some songs on sonic temple billy shreds!! on the song earth mofo he rips it up and i think faster than anything ive heard slash do...

  • They just don't make 'em like this anymore...

    Shame.

  • imho without doubt the best band ever, loved them in my early 20's and still love them now at 44.Love album, best ever

  • @punkcultforlife gotta agree. i saw them in '95, and they were awesome, and again a month or two back touring the Love album, Absolutely amazing!!!

  • ..these bastards rocked..we need em now !

  • The Cult Rules

  • i luv The Cult since i was friggin 18!!

    Ian is still friggin hott

Is da cult planning to come down under any time soon?

  • German (?) bassist seen and heard on Porno for Pyros.

  • This band is the only band in rock n roll history that was before and after it's time.

  • One of THE best rock and roll songs of ALL time...

The guitar riff...the bass intro....the drum beat...

And of course, the howling lyrics.

If one ever asked "what is rock and roll?", all one would need do is play this song...

    THIS, is rock and roll.

  • ian it´s crazy and beautiful

  • luv him hes still hot!!

r they gonna come down under any time soon?

  • buenisimooooo!!!!!!!

  • fucking anazing song with a clasic rif.

  • The audience was F****ing dead!!!! I would be going crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!! Then at 03:18 he says: Last chance to boogieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Adrilondon: Well said, what the F was up with the Audience? They Rock, the best I've seen.

  • i agree!! fucking posers!

  • are you kidding?? That's fuckin solid rock!! Straight up, balls to the wall. If Rock ain't about going nuts on stage, then i don't know what is!

  • you aint shitting man!! i responded to another response,i didnt mean that the cult were posers.

  • sorry dude. didn't read down far enough. Rock on!

  • Rockin Vid....The Cult live....

  • killer

  • Que solo Billy. Idolo

  • I an had his teeth fixed!!

  • I'd say GNR were influenced by The Cult, not ripping them off. Electric era-cult and GNR launched at around the same time, so I don't see how they really could have had a chance to do any major ripping off :). GNR actually opened for The Cult in 1987 for a small tour. Interesting you mention Soundgarden because they ended up opening for GNR on a tour a few years later :).

  • The Cult = best rock band ever

    GNR = pure shit.

  • badass

  • what happened to jamie stewart

  • Jamie is married and lives in Canada and has since about 93 I used to see him all the time at gigs in Toronto, Ontario Canada

  • Is that the bass player from Porno For Pyros? Love this band.

  • yes, that is Martyn Le Noble, who was with them before PFP

  • soundgarden open for gnr in the 90s ,in Miami new years eve, I see how Gnr rip these people off ,same sound , different front man ,vocals. its sad after all these years , so obvious, way overlooked.

  • very cool... I don't see how GnR ripped them off but...

  • I don't think Guitar soloing has anything to do with why they didn't bocome as huge. They got ripped off by Guns n roses period! I saw both bands and the Cult blew GNR away! I think the same way about Soundgarden. They should have made it before Nirvana but Nirvana beat them to it somehow even though Soungarden was before. It's wierd really.

  • Badass Band......

  • GRRRR WHY DID HE CUT HIS HAIR!!!!????

  • This rocks like something that rocks alot but more so, they should have been as huge as guns and roses

  • Part of the reason why they weren't as big as G'n'R is that Billy Duffy isn't much of a lead player. Great at building up a big texture sound with fx, great at catchy riffs but he never really got the flashy solo thing down...

  • BD isn't as flashy but definately effective...and doesn't overplay which can get obnoxious with hair bands.

  • ian rules. so badass. and that vioce.sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo fine.

  • God, Ian is on fire. so underrated as a frontman. there's plenty of good modern music today if one is dedicated to going out and finding it, but rarely are there frontmen with his kind of energy.

  • fantastic frontman

  • Alot of people don`t know Ian actually toured with the remaining (LIVING) members of the Doors a few years back, as the Doors. I caught a show in Chicago and it was phenominal. Other than cutting his hair, he did not try to be Jim. Just did a great show! One of the best performers in our lifetime.

  • IAN IS WILD

  • POWERFUL

  • Great song! My brother knows the singer decently i belive, my brother is lucky -.- Lol. Awesome band!

  • fuckin' A!

  • ...and that kids, is how you f*cking play rock and roll

  • yes..yes it is!

  • I second that!!!!

  • The Cult are still the best band in the F____king world !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • u are dead right

  • there's a reasojn Astbury was one of the finalists for the part of the doors movie because he actually was part of "The New Doors" band which was the original members of the doors with him as singer. So if he can sing the songs like morrison it stands to reason he would be able to act out his character.

  • "we're doin it, we're doin it, we're doing it well!!!!"

  • their fucking the best, what i would give to be there....much

  • T I B E T F O R T I B E T A N S

  • W/ Billy Idol and Great Performance, Ive seen them twice (once in 1988 W/ Billy Idol and in 2001) and they always put on a great show !! Great Rock band.

  • their 2nd best song!!

  • I have almost broke my arm before air guitaring to this

  • best rock band in the world absolutely no doubt about it

  • really do u think they are. They are my favouite band

  • smokin B.D ouch oh yea!

  • wish i was there he is is hot

  • yea duffys great great arena tone if ya know what i mean boy!

  • I Think Billy Duffy Does Areal Great Job At This Concert!

  • fuck Ian looks like Jim Morrison

  • He was one of finalist for the Morrison part in "The Doors" movie, enventually it went to Kilmer. Nice observation, danwillstrom2112!

  • That's exactly what I was thinking, lol. The spittin' image!

  • Yes.. The Cullt circa 1999.. lads in their prime.. again and again.. excellent..

  • hey, does someone knows when it was?
