Not I personally, but I've got related there who spends half their time in Dubai.

And as they come back to Sweden (where I live) they go like: Oh my god! Grass!

I also asked one of my mate if they had a garden once, and he was like "No, what do you think? It's all sand...".

Correct me if I'm wrong.

well yeah you cant compare Dubai to Sweden or Europa, but it does have grass and parks inside the city, but around the city its full off sand....

i would say Abu Dhabi (the capital) is much more greener.

Agreed, the landing wasn't good at all. Flared way too high and thus caused the plane to drop onto the runway. Flare should be initiated at lower altitude to glide soft onto the runway.

How can you tell from that angle? looked like a good landing to me!

a) the airplane flare/glides at approx. 50 feet then drops

b) with a good landing flare/glide occurs around 10 feet

c) touchdown is with a rate of more than 20 ft/sec (hard landing)

d) AOA is too high during touchdown
