  • Thank you so much......

  • put the mixture in a small fridge size container with screw lid, add olive oil so that it seeps into the ginger/garlic mixture and you have a thin layer of around a few mm oil at the top. It will last for around 2 weeks easily.

  • So many anti, that so many auntie makes it.. Vahaha

  • did you peel the ginger ? im confused, can you leave the skin on ?

  • @psykad3lic It's fine to leave it on, but it creates a flavour that some people don't like....a bit woody. So, it's your choice to peel it or not.

  • Seriously, thank you! We are working the tagine machine and needed guidance from an expert. :) Do you happen to have a good (green) side dish recipe and/ or a sweet dessert recipe to go with our beef tagine and potatoes? Already have the Ganache.

  • The Julia Childs of India, Great Job, just ordered the DVD's. Thanks

  • I was very curious how vahchef makes this paste. Here I have my paste made minutes ago, its excellent and ultra potent! thanks!

  • Down in south india, garlic is preferred for lactating mothers, curing flatulence and curing pimples and scars. It is indeed a proven medication for the above, besides providing a fantastic flavour for the foods and esp., non-veg foods.

  • Ginger garlic paste is really a fantastic flavouring agent for not only indian foods, but also food items like noodles, pasta, spaghetti. more importantly, for dishes that involve fish.

Ginger as well as garlic should be avoided those who suffer from reflux disease such as "GERD and Peptic ulcer".

  • AMERICANS complicate everything stfu if he thought ginger was dangerous im sure he would have told u people to peel it , u guys let someone tell u something is bad and take it way out of proportion

  • @charlena2107 Please don't generalize--all Americans aren't like this. There are recipes that say to peel the skin off the ginger, but since watching this vid by vanchef, I keep the skin on. I just wash any dirt or debris off the skin. This makes it less labor intensive. I'm using the ginger garlic paste for Bangain Bhurta --yum!!

  • @charlena2107 u r like a frog in the well; ignorant and stupid

  • My dear friend, for god's sake or customers sake or viewers sake, i humbly request you to peel the ginger skin before you use. Ayurveda says that even if a small piece of the Ginger Skin gets into your system , it is dangerous. Ginger is good, but the skin is dangerous. It takes less than a minute to peel that. so please peel. Thanks

  • @rekkhabusy Who is Ayurveda? I know baby ginger are usually used with the skin on.

  • yeah you should peel the skin

  • @rekkhabusy please don't sell your wishy-washy nonsense on the comment section of a video honestly trying to inform others. if you have no good reason to believe what you are saying, perhaps it is best unspoken.

  • how long does the paste last in the freezer.what can i do to make it last for more 2 months

  • I LOVE this stuff. I'm an italian-american but the way this guy shows how to cook indian food is awesome.

  • nice small clip. Make some more small clips like how to cut green chillies, how to roast zeera or make chat masala etc etc.

  • its true thay its antibiotiv when i have ginger it helps clear acne

  • I love how you played with the vid and made it faster! I am a woman with no patience so it fit me well. lol.. you are so right about the healing abilities of garlic and ginger, this is why people from India that aren't Americanized are so much healthier than the GMO infested Americans! Love your videos keep them up. I also love the ladies at showmethecurry

  • People like you always criticizing the country that they live in comfortably while making lots of money. There is no need to criticize and accuse people of being "Americanized" as a way to remember your home country and its goodness.

  • Are you kidding? America is the most obese nation in the world. We are lazy and we eat crap. I am American and will admit it. Don't tell me to feel good about my country, the country that is slaughtering thousands in this meanless war right now. Obama just got elected and now it is only getting worse. Look at who he appointed to head of Agriculture, a advocate from Monsanto! The biggest GMO company in the world, that means genetically modified organisms in our food.

  • Yeah! And never do we hear about the over 3 thousand chemical additives that are allowed in our foods. And how the flour, salt and sugar are stripped of any nutrients. Can we say the sickest country in the world just for the sake of capitalism.

Fruits and veggi's genetically altered and seeds sterilized so farmers cannot grow from a previous crop but have to keep buying seeds. And DNA altered tomatoes, corn, apples, potatoes, not in other countries, not allowed!

  • thanx alot am learning a good food from u ;-)

  • asshole he made it in 60 secs!after that he was speaking!!!

  • Woah its a miracle cure!

  • Thank you so much for all your videos. :)

  • Thank you Sanjay. I am learning lot of things from you.

  • This would be wonderful for Korean food. : )

  • For how many days we can keep this Ginger-Garlic paste in freeze or frozen?

  • frozen for a year no probs

  • Thanks! vahchef for your prompt reply... You Rock!!!

I tried many dished successfully as suggested by you.....

    Thanks a lot!!!!

  • Ginger and garlic are have many many helpful factors. They help to overcome gas, cramps.acid indigestion problems.

  • Yay, sounds great.

  • quickie under 60sec -you r funny -good info

  • good but do u not peel the ginger

  • wash ginger free of dirt and use ,you can peel it too,but not a must

  • @vahchef I kept mine in a sealed container in fridge for less than a week and it turned green. Why does this happen? In a indian cookbook i have it said it will keep for 1 week at least in a fridge.

  • @MrQuagmire26 im more than sure its still good even if its green.
