What killed DDP was his debut angle. Making the peoples champion of WCW. Come out as a fucking stalker?? Seriously? DDP one of the most charismatic men resorting to stalking? Fucking dumb. Even the fans when he unmasked cheered for him. But the angle and direction the WWF at the time took things made Page become a heel against Taker. They should have made Page come out and call out The Rock. Have a true battle of the people's champs. But then again Vince t-bagged most WCW stars after buying it.

Did WWE ever drop the ball with DDP he was a huge star in WCW. He should have been the leader of the Revolution not Booker T. Instead they made him into a stupid stalker which never even had a payoff, no one on one match with taker how stupid. DDP vs Triple H, DDP vs The Rock, DDP vs Steve Austin, DDP vs Edge, DDP vs Brock Lesnar there was so many big matches WWE could have done but they blew it.

Here's the thing...the gimmick...was all of Page's idea. He was driving to the arena one day and saw something about a motivational speaker. He went to Vince and Vince gave it the greenlight since they were struggling to find something to do with him. It backfired...but this is one that you can't blame on Vince since Page, himself, came up with the idea

Sting was right not to ever go to WWE. I understand his decision now.
