The Chosen are the direct descendants of a group of Puritans from early 17th century England. They were supposed to settle in North America when their ship was blown off course. They ended up settling in the deep Amazon jungle. The Amazonian Indios call them Ghost Tribe because of their fair skin. The Amazon is still largely unexplored and they are still unknown indigenous tribes living there, totally isolated from the outside world.

I have seen all the episodes except the one where they are escaping and they are found by soldiers. We had a power outage at our house and I missed the whole thing. They canceled the show and the reruns. Thats why I never saw it. :(

This TV show is one of my favorites - great acting, directing, storyline, suspense and many more. I enjoyed this one more than Lost. C-Thomas Howell, Carol Alt, Fabiana Udenio, Chris Martin, Rob Stewart were stunning.

I'd like to see 2nd episode espacially when Paul Essiembre stared as a Marcel. He was fantastic. His death scene was fantasic and so sad. It was one of my favourites scenes at all :)

my brother was in this series when he was little! you can see him from 1:53-the end of the part before the 'next time on amazon' or w.e. he's the little boy standing in front of all the new comer people....pretty cool. i remember standing on that set!

original distributor was purchased by another company - by the time they were to decide to continue or not the actor options had expired.

It's currently playing on CBC's BOLD cable tv so I would expect DVD soon.

We had built in an old steel factory one and a half acres of rain forest complete with tree houses, rivers, waterfall, villages and a cave system - we actually built all the foliage you see - and we were very sad to see it canceled.

This show was FANTASTIC! Way better then LOST. It ended with the remaining survivors deciding who was going to fly the 2 seater plane out of the jungle. That was the end of the series. FUCK!!!!! WHY DID THEY SCREW US WITH NO CLOSING TO THIS FATASTIC SERIES!

Last show had Karen in a plane about to crash, Jimmy was shot and lay bleeding alone in the jungle, Kennedy had really lost his mind and took a bible and a gun to the village of the chosen to try and take over control from the Elders...

Well I liked the ending. Although I didnt like the show to end ( kinda contradictory huh ). It was an open ending, where your imagination could create your finish ...or maybe a loop!
