  • I'm doing this for my final in my scene study class. Any tips? I'm actually more nervous about this then any other monologue, classical or otherwise that I've ever done.

  • @0:51 page turn lol

  • brilliant! i can't stop listening to it. I have to do this speech for a drama assignment, and you've helped me so much. thanks!

  • @FatGingerFish Thanks so much! Good luck on the assignment!

  • which scene is this from?

  • Oh...by the way...that music? Could you tell me where it is from? Thanks.

  • I like this interpretation...calmer than Jacobis in the movie. Then again...his works with the images. Shakespeare rocks. :)

  • Good understanding of the speech, but work on diction and staying legatto, as well as true to the verse, throughout the piece. But for someone with little to no training in voice and speech, you did quite well.

  • Harshy, if you consider his to be a voice untrained, I shudder to consider what you posess.

  • You're amazing. Seriously. "So many horrid ghosts, O, now who will behold" that line was intense.

    Great reading.

  • you have a beautiful clear and resounding voice...and the music effect was perfect :)

i just finished a book on shakespeare and there was a chapter on how to approach speeches like this, where it's a chorus and not a character (where knowing age background etc helps) and not make them boring or recited, and you nailed it.

    great job!

  • Excellent job. You make me want to learn me that speech too. It's mighty good one, and you do it superbly.

  • Thanks!
