  • fire dem niggas and take back dem bonus's

  • That one standard deviation IQ variance is a real bitch.

  • They are exactly the same as Asians, European Whites and Jews, morally, culturally, IQ wise and in every possible way, but for the color of their skinright? I am confused. Please help me; I am trying to be an open minded Liberal.

  • Where are the Reverend Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton? Is this not a crime against Black students? Are they singling out only Whites for crimes against Blacks? That would be racist. We all know that they couldn't possibly be racist. Why such difficulty educating Black children?

  • wow.

  • im an aps student atlanta too ghetto them niggas....

  • keep your nose out of the jews business....see...

  • And the beat goes on! Research properly - before speaking publicly.

TOP School ATLANTA- reported the issues of CHEATING in Northside's APS from 2001 to the present The reports fell on deaf ears.

Today, the APS-OIR and GA-PSC improper investigations of APS JACKSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHEATING and RETALIATION are considered TABOO TOPICS.

Buckhead'sMACHINE controls this POLITICAL GAME. The truth about JACKSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL still remains in the closet.

  • This is the result of passing laws that were goodly intended. As the saying goes, "Good intentions pave the road to hell."

  • I must disagree! I'm a retired black teacher. I know. I kept up with Obama while he campaigned. He campaigned like Republicans did! It's a fact. Many Republican leaders sided with his views on education. The leader of the Nation Teacher's Union stated after Obama got into office, they'd get him to change his views on education. Our President is very wishy-washy, but very smart. Can't you see? He simply says what the people in front of him want to hear. Please check it out!

  • Scrap the public school system. It's an abysmal failure. Blow the whole fucking thing up and start over. Starting with the teacher's unions. Randi Weingarten should be public enemy #1.

  • Beverly Hall doesn't have to worry. She has a mad fat pension from NY, NJ and GA.

  • For the most part, Republicans have praised Pres. Obama's views on education. This is an area where they have mostly agreed. Like Obama, Republicans believe in merit pay, holding teachers accountable, etc. At the same time, however, the O Admin tries to compromise with teacher unions. It's hard to know where the Obama Admin really stands when it comes to education. They should stop trying to please everyone & do the right thing for our children. With most politicians, it's all about votes.

  • @51Rainy Republicans & Obama's view on education is the total opposite. Republicans want school vouchers which OBAMA & the UNIONs deplore. The teachers UNION are the real reason why the USA education system is a total failure, especially in LA UNIFIED. Republicans hate UNIONs, because they have no sense of accountability, they take our tax money & piss it away on incompetent teachers. OBAMA would kiss the UNIONs ass & eat their bullshit than do the right thing for our kids, kids do not vote.

  • @hempartist420 fuk that has to do with it? "most" "all" "some" doesn't make the comment any less retarded.

  • @Jayjon81 Many superintendents are allowing cheating to take place all over this nation. One day, what is done in the dark will clearly be seen in the light. Just wait and see. I've worked with black and white teachers. They all cheat. It's all about recognition, bonus checks, and not being fired. Test scores and data results everywhere are being inflated!!!!!!!!! Whites, blacks, and all other races of teachers are cheating! Why? The love of money is truly the root of all

  • only in blacklanta, hahahaha!

  • hahaha

  • Wow the racism of you people. Im not black or white, but guess what, we all have to live with eachother. White people forced Africans to come to America in the first place, and now Whites don't want Blacks to live among them. OOOKay. TAKE A LOOK AT YOURSELF.

  • Every Human Being has the potiential of greatness inside them. It doesn't matter what race. The teachers in Atlanta gave up on their students and aloud this to happen. I am an African American that lives in Michigan and graduated from Clawson Highschool with a 3.9 GPA. So Shut the Fuck up if you think it's a biological thing as to why *some* African Americans can't learn. YOU are the ignorant ones. Spend one day with someone from an inner city community in their homes and find an answer.

  • @gametubin "allowed"

  • @gametubin : Don't be so angry. It's not worth it.

  • jews pushed affirmative action and "civil rights" to destabilize the host nation, in this case the US. Same game everytime.

Check out Incogman.net before they shut it down again.

The funny thing about this video is that the teachers changed the papers to make them pass, but I'd wager the product was still subpar. :)

  • they cheated to avoid sanctions enforced by the "no child left behind act" Instead of doing their job, they cheated those kids out of an education, just to save their asses! post their pictures on time square!!

  • The problem is that certain "Chirrens" these days value the importance of sports more than they value being studious. They think that the NBA or the NFL is their ticket to a better life....higher education is the best route to go. I dont care if there is an all black school or all white school. A HS or college degree will carry you far in life more than a damn basketball or football. Be true to school everyone.

  • oh come on! You know something had to be up when black kids started passing test

  • @hogo1 Bwahahahaha! Your damn right! At first I was like, "It's only coach trying to get his player into a good college football program." But when Obamaniqua Kashyyyk Craka Killa Jackson got A's in Math and Science, I knew something stunk to high heaven!

  • Fuck the UNIONs, & fuck you OBAMA. For ex Beverly Hall, we the taxpayer have to subsidize her lavish lifestyle, 500K salary, vacationing in HAWAII, almost 3 months of vacation time each year, on top of sick leave & holidays, her pension, retirement, healthcare(I bet her lazy fat ass, she on a cocktail of drugs) - how wonder our kids flunk out, we are broke! The taxpayers are paying them to sit on there fat lazy ass all day making up numbers. OBAMA wants bigger UNIONs bankrupting each state.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor How can you blame the President for the behavior of the APS. If you want to blame someone, blame Bush for implementing a backward education policy (No Child Left Behind) that placed all the emphasis on ‘the big test’, & punished those very schools with the students most at risk to fail the tests.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor

Whenever you threaten to fire people or hand-out cash bonuses based on test results, you are bound to get a culture of cheating. Its only a matter of time before we see similar scandals across the nation.

P.S., the Teacher’s Unions have always been against these high-stake test policies precisely b/c of this outcome. Do some research before you post this partisan bullshit!

  • @llydwll The teachers UNION oppose this because it means they have to get off their lazy ass & actually start to teach. If they cannot raise scores, then they should be fire so that somebody else can do a better job - the reason why UNIONs oppose this because teachers had to be held accountable. The teachers UNION are in bed with administrators - UNION workers also. OBAMA & UNIONs ripped off the tax payer rather than pay good teachers more(merit pay), they wanted to spread the corruption.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor: While there are bad/lazy teachers, take a day off and tour one of the schools in question to see the caliber of student (heck, the caliber of human being) that teachers are trying to work with...many hate school and the idea of doing work so much they will sabotage their own futures to make that point. In fact, get a substitute certificate and see how much you can accomplish in a day.

  • @3n0r3x You blame the students, you blame the administrators, but you do not blame yourself. That is the problem with the UNIONs. If the educational system is run more like a capitalistic business, like a FedEx rather than a USPS, you been fired 10 years ago, & the kids you despise to teach will be a lot better off, because millions of college grads with higher education than you that cannot find a job, would gladly take your job & do it 100x better. Typical UNION excuses, blame the kids.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor Furthermore, if you knew anything about education you would know that the best teachers are the ones with over five years experience. But 70% of new teachers quit the profession with-in 4 years. What you propose would create a revolving door of uninspired transient teachers who would care even less about the student they serve.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor

Furthermore, if you knew anything about education you would know that the best teachers are the ones with over five years experience. But 70% of new teachers quit the profession with-in 4 years. What you propose would create a revolving door of uninspired transient teachers who would care even less about the student they serve.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor

You dumbass! The key difference between the public education & private industry is that EVERY KID MUST BE EDUCATED. In business, a few companies excel, but most MUST FAIL. Education can’t be run as a business.

  • @llydwll

    "EVERY KID MUST BE EDUCATED."

    Why?

"Education can’t be run as a business."

It must be run as a business. That's the only way to benefit people. Provide a product, and if they like it, they buy it. If they don't, you lose money and go out of business.

If you try to educate everyone, you must impose your specific standards and beliefs onto everyone.

  • @SomethingSea1

Furthermore, if large numbers of kids are not educated, we will not have an open, socially mobile society. Instead, there would emerge a permeate underclass, which would grow, depress wages, become a drain on the economy, & ultimately lead to the end of the USA as we know it.

  • @llydwll "Furthermore, if large numbers of kids are not educated"

I am not arguing against this. I am arguing against,

    "EVERY KID MUST BE EDUCATED."

  • @SomethingSea1

Every kid must be educated simply because in a democracy, were the people rule, the people must be informed. Therefore, by definition, every kid is entitled to an education in order for our democracy to persist. Education is a public good, just like national defense, & your local police/fire department. Would you want those services to be treated like a business?

  • @llydwll "Every kid must be educated simply because in a democracy, were the people rule, the people must be informed." Why should we have democracy? It is barbarism. • @UCSDEngineerDoctor You are such a stupid individual. If an administrator tells a teacher they should crawl under a table during a faculty meeting because of low test scores, what does that tell you about the state of education today? It is that teachers are being disrespected by those above them. We don't treat doctors like this. We don't say, "Hey, obesity is out of control in the US. It's your fault. Lower obesity rates now! Or else crawl underneath a table."

  • @USASecretHistory The administrator colluded with the teachers on the cheating scandal - 80 teachers. This is the UNIONs fault, & the UNION includes the teachers & the administrators. Administrators did not want to fire the bad performing teachers & reward the good ones, because the UNION will lose it dues. This is the problem with UNIONs, idiots like you blame the administrators, & the administrators blame the teachers, there is a total lack of accountability, unlike the private sector.

  • @USASecretHistory Everybody pointing fingers & nobody takes accountability - this is what you get with OBAMA's big government UNION corruption. Cheating does not happen in private schools & charter schools, where they are able to raise scores in the worst of neighborhoods. The public school system is a total failure & the public teachers UNION which includes the administrators are all part of the problem. The UNIONs rather take more tax revenue to do less work.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor You anti-union, racist, and sexist stupid idiot. We have just had a charter school in LAUSD that was caught cheating on its California State Standards test. The administrators directed the teachers to take notes on the question during a meeting. 5 teachers blew the whistle. They were retaliated on. They were suspended without pay for several. LAUSD voted to not renew this charter on the July 12, 2011 board meeting.

  • How justice is swift for charter schools. Not so much for UNION teachers.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor Hasn't justice been swift in this case here in Atlanta? Write back. Let me know. I'll be thrilled to hear your logic again.

  • @USASecretHistory Beverly Hall still getting her pension. We the tax payer still have to pay for her health til the day she dies. Try to get that in the private sector or small business.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor And we taxpayer also pay for the FBI agents who cheated on their tests. The Financial Times 7/15/2011 article "Credit Suisse drawn into US tax probe." In February 2009...UBS... agreed to pay $780m to settle US investigations into its Switzerland-based private bankers working for US clients. [T]he bank was obliged to hand over the names of almost 5,000 American clients with offshore accounts to US authorities." The rich cheat. Many cheat. America doen't work anymore.

  • @USASecretHistory Yeah so what is your point? FBI agents are government workers, they are just as bad or worst than UNION jobs. Those are tax jobs. The post office workers, census workers, DMV UNION government & state workers, those are all tax jobs. The kind of jobs that has big government waste, fraud, cheating, & zero accountability. Obama wants bigger government & bigger UNIONs. Hence no jobs in the private sector & small businesses, people that work 80 hrs/week paying for those TAX JOBS.

  • @USASecretHistory The rich cheat? You mean OBAMA's rich crony CEO of GE? He sits on OBAMA economic advisory board - get billions in bailout, ships jobs overseas, & make billions & do not pay a dime in taxes? While small businesses that work their asses off pay almost 50% of their revenue to OBAMA & his democratic UNION clowns in the state legislature. OBAMA says the rich need to pay more, when GE does not pay a dime? While the so call 'rich' small businesses owners are taxed into bankruptcy.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor You stupid fool. It was in the Financial Times, stupid. Can't you read the Financial Times? Or is that too sophisticated for you, you stupid idiot. The Financial Times article I mentioned to you further noted that "The latest development follows the indictment earlier this year of four Swiss private bankers...on allegations of helping with tax evasion." You and I would be in jail if we did this, stupid. The federal government is the one going after them. You stupid person.

  • @USASecretHistory Yeah the federal government is going after them - more people & more bureaucrats costing the taxpayers more money you stupid fool. Its like if ENRON went after itself. You think OBAMA's government who colluded with GE so they do not pay any taxes ever get investigated? OBAMA goes after UBS, to make themselves look good, but what about OBAMA big government nanny state handling trillions of TAXPAYERs dollars of BAILOUTs(more like bribes) to state deficits caused by the UNIONs?

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor You stupid idiot. I call you an idiot because you don't know what you're talking about. This investigation into UBS's illegal activities went back to the Bush administration. Know the facts before you write something, stupid. Don't assume. You know the old saying about what happens when you assume. No you're probably too stupid to know. so I'll have to tell you. Don't assume or you'll make an ass out of yourself.

  • @USASecretHistory lol Assume? What makes you think I do not know that? You are the one making a dumbass out of yourself. Hypocrite. Obama going after UBS was just a political gesturing, to make himself look good. Obama did not do jack shit, Obama political cronies are running UBS. The CEO of UBS golfs with OBAMA, while the whistle-blower gets 40 months in jail. You are too stupid to read between the lines. The rich cheat? Its OBAMA that is the biggest cheater you moron.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor You dumbass. When are you going to get it into your thick head that Obama did not go after UBS, the Bush Administration did? You're one of those stupid people George Carlin talked about.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor Listen muthafucka. Shut the fuck up. You don't know what you are talking about. You are misinformed. All you have to do is read the pages of the Wall Street Journal and Financial Times to know that the wealth gap is increasing in this country because the elites who control all the industries are stealing the money from their workers through long hours and shitty pay. That has been the trend in this country since the Nixon Administration muthafucka. Bullshit.

  • I work 80 - 100 hrs a week paying for your UNION benefits. APPLE, INTEL, & WALMART does not make me work for their workers pension & healthcare. YOU SHUT UP YOU DEEPSHIT. You cannot even stand on your 2 feet, heck you cannot even feed yourself without taking taxpayers money. The UNIONs bankrupt this country like it did GREECE & GM, & OBAMA printed money to bail them out with stimulus, QE1, QE2. The elites are making me work long hrs? SHUT THE FUCK UP MORON.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor You work 80-100 hrs because you are being pimped by your employers. APPLE, INTEL, & WALMART doesn't give a fuck about you. I pay my taxes dumbass. The wealthy don't. The estate tax? The elite want to get rid of that tax. Why? Because they don't want to pay taxes. The marginal tax rate for these people is the lowest it has ever been since WWII. There are no unions dumbass. Unions paved the way for the 8hr day, the end of child labor, increased pay and benefits for people.

  • @USASecretHistory You pay your taxes? With what? Other people's hard earn money? You cannot even run a lemonade stand. Other people's hard work? I work 80-100 hrs a week, because I have my own business your moron. You have no clue. Estate tax? The money the person, he/she can use it to remodel their parents house, or use it to pay for their kids education, but no, they have to go pay dumbass DMV cubicle hamster workers. FUCK YOU - the UNION is the most wasteful corrupt thugs.

  • @USASecretHistory APPLE, INTEL, & WALMART does not force me to pay for their employees pension & healthcare. And you think the UNIONs care about me? BULLSHIT. FUCK YOU.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor No. They lower your pay. WALMART advises its workers to get welfare from the government. Ever heard of externality? It's a term in economics. Basically corporations make a third party pay for its costs. Without the work that unions did in the 1930s and 1940s there would have been no middle class in the US afterwards. Now that only 8% of American workers are unionized it makes economic sense that the rest of the 92% have not seen their wages rise in the last 30 years.

  • @USASecretHistory Welfare is for people that do not work.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor You can work and still receive welfare assistance in this country. There are federal welfare assistance programs that include child care, health care, energy and utility assistance, child support program, food assistace, medical assistance, etc.

  • @USASecretHistory

Listen guys, I think its obvious that ‘UCSDEngineerDoctor’ is a professional right-wing cyber douchebag. His arguments make no-sense, & he is just posting to get a rise out of people who truly care about these issues. The vast majority of teachers are dedicated, work hard, & are under paid & under appreciated. The real problem is the corporatization/privatization of the America.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor

This policy placed all the emphasis on testing, with harsh penalties for schools that can’t meet unrealistic goals. How unrealistic are these goals: After a set period, schools are expected to have 100% of students pass the test.

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor

Your commits make absolutely no sense what so ever. How can the Unions be in bed with both the administrators & teachers? Your ideas are completely predicated on your irrational anti-union, anti-Obama bias, both of which has nothing to do with the cheating scandal. Again, let me reiterate (not that you would put your bias aside to hear me) this scandal is the result of Bush’s ‘NO-Child-Left-Behind.’

  • @UCSDEngineerDoctor You stupid individual. You have the IQ of a baboon. Even Bill Gates recently admitted in a New York Times interview that there was no correlation between good schools with better test scores and schools with no teacher's union. If you get rid of all the teachers union in the US you will see no gains in education. You stupid person. Union members don't have a lavish lifestyle. You stupid idiot. Where did you read that, stupid?

  • I failed to believe that report I guarantee their are some innocent teachers caught up in that foolishness shame on the State Of Georgia

  • Another sad reality is that with teaching still being one of the lowest paid professions in the country with many living from paycheck to paycheck . . . 178 firings and the stigma attached will no doubt mean more foreclosures for an all but bottomed out Atlanta housing market. Not to mention the countless families who will probably migrate back to their home states because they don't trust Atlanta to educate their kids, more revenue gone . . . And so the domino affect begins

  • 5/6s of the silly fuckers have IQs below 100. They have to cheat. Also ML King had to cheat to get through school years ago. The simple minded rascal had to copy off the papers of Jack Boozer

  • This is just the tip of the iceberg. They hosted test "CHANGING PARTIES"strickly BYOE (bring your own eraser). My concern is, if there were students and parents who perhaps rubbed a teacher the wrong way it's highly likely that this was an opportunity to change those students scores unfavorably, essentially controlling the outcome of those children's future. In true Atl style, everybody is pointing the finger at everybody else. Some say itz all Mayor Reed's fault. Any way u slice itz pitiful!

  • @hempartist420 you dumb bitch all African Americans are not black u dumb ass there are white people in Africa you dumb fuck...go kill yourself with that bull shit...all through the centuries white people have cheated...You bitches break your own laws and break treaties...you people are the scum of the earth you cause wars and create diseases...you white people need to be wiped off the earth

  • @nineballssj9..Whites are good 4 putting the microscope on everyone else but,themselves...Thats why its good 2 know the truth about things, most of them are really egotistical pieces of shits..I know some whites who are worth full respect and far from "SOFT" and, dont need 2 say the irrelevant things these cowards are saying..

  • @nineballssj9 Yeah wipe the people of the earth that gave you everything including your language even though you can't speak it properly, the car you would drive if you had credit, the computer you probably stole or are renting through a rec center, and a great country to live in. Blacks are simply dumber on average, get over it and know that yes you are inferior and living in a white man's world. Sorry you weren't blessed enough to have been born with white skin, but your faster at least.

  • @kylemas2005 this is another reason why you people need to be wiped off the face of the earth because you steal other people credit...while u bitches was cavemen and bashing you females up side the head with clubs...we gave you bitches langauge and civilization you should read your history buddy...and most of the technologies in America came from china, lol this is the reason why China dont like you europeans, lol

  • Blacks gave us the English language? Bwahahaha! I'd love to read some the history books they gave you at your Atlanta school. And yeah we were cavemen at one point, but guess what? Africans are still living like that, but instead of clubs they're using spears. Man, just own up, it's a white man's world and you speaking a white man's language. Your ignorance is so typical, I love it! Keep clownin' nigga! It pleases the white man.

  • In this story 178 principals and teachers, noticed theres no pics of them in the media..Hmmmm!

  • A 'vcitim'? Surely a beneficiary.

  • This is what will happen when you force lower developed races in to civilization...

  • @Lallar3n Anyone remember the "60 Minute" segment on teachers cheating all over the USA? It was aired about 15-20 years ago. They said Alaska was the only state that hadn't cheated on national standardized tests. People, we're fooling ourselves. Man is sinful, and money truly is the root of all evil. People will do whatever they can to get as much of it as they can.

  • Blacks: never to be trusted in positions of authority.

  • @Lrdvltr..If u care 2 delve more in2 these accusations,u will find that 6 other principals from different schools have done the same thing and, theyre not Black....

  • @achzdck

Hey Im from denmark. But still there is the mentality u describe, some reject knowledge, information. Its very complicated I think, more than "past oppressors information".

  • Typical Atlanta, Blk people abusing other Blk people. Yes this is child abuse! (she's absolutely correct this is Blk on Blk crime). These teachers and administrators come from the same communities where Blks rob, cheat, steal and kill other Blks just so they can drive a hand-me-down luxury car. Don't get mad, you're naive if you think it's not about money. Bet Clayton County is feeling mighty superior about that nasty little accreditation issue they had to deal with. Typical ATL!

  • How surprising!!

Black people think they're oppressed by the white man so they "retaliate".

How many people that wanted to go to College and couldn't because some losers got in with grades achieved by cheating? No one can answer that ofcourse.

  • Comment removed

  • @FreddoX1 You are such an idiot and an imbecile. You're a racist because you're using the race card.

  • Thumbs down for advertisement.

  • we should have listened to the teachers....we just aren't paying them enough :):

  • how ironic... teachers are the ones doing the cheating

  • Our schools have been in crisis 4 sometime now and,a story like this shames the very people we entrust 2 educate...Ur supposed 2 feel honor 4 those who lead and our teachers are supposed 2 be those leaders..

  • that one standard deviation IQ variance sure causes a lot of problems

  • These ghetto black students have no learning skills or respect for authority. They are undisciplined and are uncontrolled Stop these ridiculous remarks about "changing the system" and accept the fact that blacks are not making it in society due to poor family structure and their nasty ghetto environment. Ride through the ghetto where you live sometime seeing the filth and smelling the stench and you will see these peoples live like animals. And animals can't pass the CRCT test.

  • RING RING!!! "Hello yes, this is Bill Williams director of hiring here at Wal-Mart, I'm calling about in regards to LaMichael D'brickashaw Kashyyyk Cracka Killa Jackson's application. Yes, unfortunately were not currently hiring at this time. Thank you for your interest."

  • @kylemas2005 Wow, I love your maturity. It takes a real MAN/WOMAN to say such things. Your ignorance is killing me! BWAHAHAHAHA! You're an asswhipe! Go hang yourself!

  • @gametubin U mad? Your mad.

  • I dont know why everyone is getting mad at the TEACHER 4

most kids don't take education seriously and everyone want to hold the teacher accountable for what students are learning but what about holding the students accountable. Teachers have to try in teach but kids are not interested in what they have to say. Its not about being black or white its about people wanting their schools to be the top of the nation but their not willing to work for it.

  • Any comments from the "teachers" union?

    (cricket, cricket).

  • This is what happens when NIGGERS RUN THINGS!

  • @zackgonnasurvivenwo - You misspelled "liberals," jackass.

  • @JMcH i never said anything abut liberals. I said NIGGERS. N-I-G-G-E-R-S!

  • @zackgonnasurvivenwo..Really?"When niggers run things"?Ive seen stories about whites having jobs they werent qualified 4,and stories about civil test scores being boosted 4 whites..I wonder why we live in a dumb-down society!

  • @H0ttSaUc3 What stories? This is a story of blacks lying and cheating. Why are talking about whites here? Go find the youtube video of unqualified whites and post your bullshit there. The reason you are here is because you can't find one.

  • @yallbeignant..Go suck on ur moms tits, thus isnt a story about Blacks lying and cheating, look at the title..Furthermore,I was posting a comment 2 someone else,so post ur BS 2 someone else!

  • come on, mammy wouldn't cheat.

  • Can you imagine an entire school district run by Negros? What madness! Pure insanity! Negros should never have been permitted to move beyond washer women, or shoe shine boys. Pure madness!!!! Shame on you Negros! Shame on Obama! Pathetic examples of stupidity and ignorance!!! Disgraceful! Go back to being scrub women and shoe shine boys! It's the best you can ever be!

  • Kudos to Shawnna Hayes-Tavares, she was spot on in this clip.

  • A perfect example of how passing laws requiring higher test scores is merely beating around the bush and doing nothing to help the problem of lower education. These types of standardized tests are a joke and don't inspire any decent kind of learning or creative teaching. Will anything change because of this? I doubt it.

  • Its not the teachers fault that that lady's kids cant pass a standardized test.

  • no one left behind.. remember?

  • The parents shouldn't complain too loudly-- without those elevated test scores, a lot of their kids wouldn't be going on to the next grade level in fall.

  • Shocking, that blacks under a black retard president would be caught cheating. Wow, blacks aren't good people either. Wow that filthy black whore took money and a medal for cheating the children. Shocking. Nah, not really, they're just the first ones to get caught. O.K America, you wanted proof that education is failing and the union thugs are to blame, what else can we say. Oh and before you assholes start replying to my post, I'm not white. Fucktards.

  • Congratulations parents of Atlantas kids, you children are actually idiots.

  • The education in Georgia is horrible.

  • Public school are bad. Black public schools are just terrible.

  • OK stop being racist calling these cheaters niggers, etc. Blacks are still suffering from the effects of slavery, passed down through poverty generation to generation.

  • @TreatyOfTripoli That's not a very good hypothesis. You could blame slavery until the end of time and no one would be able to say otherwise. I'm not being racist, I'm just saying that you can't just blame slavery for everything. It would be more accurate to blame the school system failing black youth, minimum wage keeping black youth from being hired, and the welfare system.

  • @luftwaffle You are indeed a racist. Blacks have suffered under the white man's whip for so long. I am at times ashamed to be white because of the things that blacks still go through. The school system is a product of modern segregation, through creation of ISDs and general districts tailored either to the rich or to the poor.

  • @TreatyOfTripoli That's absurd. You're saying that anyone that disagrees with you is a racist. What you're experiencing is called "white man's guilt" and it's out of control at this point. Blacks have not suffered under the "white man's whip" for "so long." They suffered under the whip of some white (and black) men over 100 years ago. Their modern struggles are related to the destructive policies of public education, the minimum wage, the drug war, and welfare.

  • @luftwaffle Racism in districting is the main problem : some schools get all the rich whites and other get all the poor blacks, due to proximity to certain neighborhoods. The schools that get all the rich whites have better funding, while the ones that get the blacks get less funding. It's a political game of segregation, played out by the wealthy while giving lipservice to the evils of segregation.

  • @TreatyOfTripoli That's not true at all about funding, sorry. The U.S. spends about $11k/student which is 3rd highest in the world. The Washington D.C. school district, where the demographics are overwhelmingly black, spends almost $13k/student. Plus, what you're really saying is that where people choose to live is somehow "racist". Poor blacks live where they do because it's cheap. Who are you to force them to live somewhere else?

  • @luftwaffle None of these blacks want to live in the ghetto. Cheap housing in nice areas gets railroaded by the local govt quicker than you can say Section 8. Look how much better even the public schools are in rich neighborhoods (and even richer private schools are present). More vouchers must be given for blacks to go to private essentially "whites only" schools, and the better public schools in richer neighborhoods must be available to them as well. Economic = racial segregation, in practice

  • @TreatyOfTripoli So that they can ruin those private schools? No offence to the blacks here, but when a large amount of your kin move to a new area the schools tend to crumble and die. Compton and Detroit used to be really nice. Black students just need strong black teachers that the students can relate to and treat as role models. The testing gap between the blacks and whites will NEVER be closed, it is just a biological fact, not a racist opinion. Charles Darwin's ghost knows the answer.

  • @TreatyOfTripoli You are presupposing that the success of public schools in rich areas is due to money - on the contrary, as I've already pointed out, the US public schools spend the 3rd most on students (11k), and Washington DC spends nearly 20% more than that at 13k, and yet the school district suffers. Geographic distribution & economics != institutionalized segregation. There are white people that live in poor areas too. Asians are richer than whites. Pure economics.

  • @TreatyOfTripoli Stop feeling guilty for being white. Stop feeling bad for blacks and/or poor people. You're acting like they're totally unable to help themselves, like children. That's actually quite insulting. Blacks are limited by three things: the public school system as a whole is unfair (I just disagree that it has anything to do with racism). Having a minimum wage hurts black people. Welfare pays people to do nothing. The drug war. Basically, the government.

  • @TreatyOfTripoli

I'm not suffering from the affects of slavery. I am black and I graduated with a 3.8 GPA.

    I didn't live in a nice neighborhood.

I think it all boils down to a lot of kids in the african american community don't take education seriously.

I noticed that while I was attending high school in a diverse school.I was the only black person in my A.P. US History class and there were only three black girls( including myself) in my A.P. English Literature Class.

  • @BabyGirlGoddess Good for you. I too know an intelligent black guy. It's just that in the aggregate, blacks are victimized by institutionalized racism (less funded schools, poorer neighborhoods, etc). If you say that blacks don't take education seriously, then it's not their fault because their teachers and areas are substandard, and they have to turn to a life of criminal behavior or rap to survive.

  • @TreatyOfTripoli You're an idiot, racism still exists because people like you keep acting like blacks and whites are different. As long as there are people like you, there will also be racism. Are you not combining all "blacks" together right now, and talking about what all "whites" are doing? Is this not the exact definition of racism? You claim to fight for a cause that you are in fact causing. Congratulations, you're a fucking moron.

  • @Polydynamix Well, I advocate for solutions: make the schools integrate both wealthy (mostly white) and the poor (more often blacks). Blacks are very poor percentage-wise compared to whites. This is the harsh reality that you need to face. Racism is not seeing the core problem. Open your eyes, and maybe you will see how generational discrimination affects blacks

  • @TreatyOfTripoli So the financial status of black people is the white persons fault? You state that statistically speaking they are, but you don't seem to have any real evidence as to why that is- you simply blame it on white people. Here's a news flash for you, white people get discriminated on by rich white people too, it has nothing to do with color and everything to do with money.

  • @Polydynamix Blacks have a legacy of slavery, Jim Crow, and still lurking institutional racism. Whites do not have this legacy like the blacks. Whites did this to blacks--that is evidence.

  • @TreatyOfTripoli Jews have had it worse, and still are discriminated against far more than "blacks". African Americans were enslaved for just over a century... Jews were enslaved for what equals almost a millennium. Women in Islamic countries are still slaves. The poor in communist societies are still pretty much slaves... what about all of them? They aren't relevant to you, so they just don't matter?

  • @Polydynamix We are talking about in the United States. Discrimination in other countries is not the focus in terms of domestic policy. In terms of our foreign relations, sure they are relevant.

  • @TreatyOfTripoli We are talking about human beings.

  • @Polydynamix I'm glad you see blacks as humans, and not as cheating chimp niggers as many racists do.

  • @TreatyOfTripoli Nope, just cheating human animals like the rest of us.

  • @Polydynamix People are treated differently, but I don't think that will ever change. I have a friend from Lebanon and he sure as hell have to work a lot more than I do to get the same level of "acceptance" in our society, it's sad but that's the way things are.

  • @lillhonken I certainly agree, I never said we all have it the same, I just don't like the notion that everyone has it good except african americans. It's just an untruth in general.

  • @TreatyOfTripoli LOL blacks must resort to criminal behavior or rap. That shit is so hilarious.

  • @BabyGirlGoddess I feel sorry for you. The UNIONs take all the tax money & piss it away on dues, old teachers tenure, administrators, & all their pensions, perks, & retirement - billions of dollars wasted & not a penny makes it to the classroom. For every dollar taxed for education, over 75 cents goes to entitlements. The teachers scream its about the kids, but nothing is further than the truth.

  • @BabyGirlGoddes Im glad you value the importance of an education rather than some kids value sports. Education is the route to go and not the route of a basketball or football. NBA or NFL...you get hurt and you got nothing

  • @BabyGirlGoddess well done

  • How did no one catch this for such a long time? It is Atlanta! There is no way these retards could have done well at all.

  • Its sad that theres such things like standardized testing seriously it could have benefit but its not monitored right and with the right people ..now its used to classify and divided people by race and class. Now in public schools they dont even teach the kids correctly or teach them useful information that will set them for success they just prepare for these dumb tests because theres so much pressure( just a opinon)

  • @xsaaghix

I so agree with everything you just said.

I went to school in Georgia and there was a lot of pressure on kids to pass tests.

Now it seems that every school down here is trying to meet some sort of standards..

I graduated with people who didn't even know how to READ. I don't even know how they were even allowed to graduate. They don't care if kids learn or not. They just care about kids passing tests. All I kept hearing throughout high school were tests, tests, tests and more tests.
