Because Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass was the "sound" most people listened to during the mid-'60s (initially made popular by that Clark Teaberry Gum "Teaberry Shuffle" ad during 1965-'66), naturally, most advertisers adapted their "twin trumpet" motif as background music in their commercials between 1965 and '67...and Coke was no esception.
