I heard you speak at Hume lake a few years ago and caught fire to the word. Since then I filled my life with everything this world has to distract us from the truth. Seems like God lets me fall and empties me emotionally and physically so that I can fill up on him and him alone. I know you don't know me, but you really are one of my heroes. In February of 2008 you spoke at a snow retreat at Hume Lake and that was the very weekend I gave my life to Christ. I just wanted to say you are an inspiration to me and thank you so much for allowing God to use you to open my eyes. Thank you again and God Bless.
It has been almost two weeks since the Winter Retreat and my guys and I are still talking about things you said. I just wanted to thank you for the content you provided and the way you layed it out... the way you said it hit home to all of them...
I went on the retreat as a leader but because of you I walked away blessed and re energized. Thank You for shepherding the youth and the leaders.
Shawn McBrides ministry was both timely and refreshing for our students. His visual approach to ministry engaged their senses while the hard truth of his words challenged their hearts. We are still seeing fruit as I write these words three weeks later. If you have a chance to host Shawn McBride at your school (or any other venue), book him as soon as you can. God is using him to stir the hearts of this generation and point them to the only truth that matters!

Hi Pastor McBride,.You spoke at my school Broadfording Christian Academy. You really rebuked me when you taught the lesson. If I just repent to God he will forgive me right? He won't stop listening to me will he? If I turn back to him will he still keep me? I really want to be real now. I want to serve Jesus.

I was at STR!VE youth conference and heard u speak, u are a wonderful speaker, and i just thank God for u coming to speak to us! God was speaking through u so much! U really got me to wake up, and see where we really are in our walk with God, and now I am even closer than I ever have been before.
