@mmlight: Miles Davis also worked with Cameo and other pop acts in the 80s. Though this here is very inferior to "In a Silent Way" and "Bitches Brew" and the Scritti Politti original is just better - it´s always difficult to translate pop into jazz.

@MrSKINFLICK Miles made pop music to keep the bills paid and not be called an 'old man' by the new generation. A good effort, but much of this music is dated and won't live on. Most people don't want to buy his 80's period stuff; especially live material.

hi it's the great Marilyn Mazur. She later played with Eberhard Weber and currently leads one of the best fusion bands in Europe. She's originally American but now lives in Denmark.

I'm 'favoriting' this (though I've got the 1988 Munich DVD-set), as it's is the Miles Davis band I saw in Sydney that year.

A truly wonderful concert, Miles-wise. I still think Foley was the 'weakest link' in the band, but history backs this up too.
