Looks like I wasn't the only one happy to finally see that, yes, if Xellos wanted to he could easily kill off the entire party without any real effort. It has to be for this reason that Lina's always been more willing to go along with Xellos' plans instead of standing up to him in protest. Even here she does just that once she sees they have no real chance to survive.
Lina is probebly the only one who could even harm Xellos with either giga slave or ragna blade, but Xellos is to fast and could probebly stop her from ever getting a chance to cast either
Xellos doesn't bullshit around, so you're right about him not even letting her finish casting the spell. I heard somewhere that Kanzaka said that Luna inverse would be barely equal to Xellos on terms of power, don't know if she could actually beat him though.
ok aside from the fact u that made no scene lack of brain= gay? he does have a brain..hes one of the best strategist in the series..he always has ulterior motive to everything and manipulates every1..in try he raped everyone...he always came out ahead

He's just never delivered what he's capable of in the series with the obvious exception of episode 21 of NEXT when it flashes back to Xellos killing 1000s of golden dragons with just the flick of his wrist. Scary, no? :S

He's Xellos. In the novels he went away after NEXT, but he is still kicking it in the anime. We might see a final boss Xellos in revolution....
