Officer Joseph Mentoring @ Fun Zone Reading Club in Skid Row

I was homeless at one point myself due to my choice to engage in a continuous cycle of self-defeating behavior(with me it was alcohol). I spent a good amount of time in the skid row district of downtown LA during this period. I encountered Officer Joseph on more than one occasion during this time. I used to consider him and other police officers in the same area as being "harrassing" and abusive of thier badges. I got myself out of all of that and now have a good life. I now see the good in them
