Sorry, have to say this.

So I guess if you really want to blame someone as to why a lot of people dislike Sakura, then it's mostly Kishi's fault. Because lets face it, there's a lot of character neglect and favoritism in "Naruto".

Continuation on why people dislike Sakura:

In her first battle against Sasori with Chiyo, Sasori basically let them win in the end, and Sakura needed the help of a 70+ year old lady so she wouldn't die. And the main reason is because now that Sasuke has turned all evil, Sakura is basically now acknowledging Naruto, and it simply disgusts a lot of people. Lets face the fact, if Sasuke was still in the village, Sakura would never like Naruto.

I think people dislike her for these reasons:

She kind of broke up her friendship with Ino (her best friend) for Sasuke who doesn't even give a damn about either one of them at the time. She was really obsessed about Sasuke in Part 1 and Part 2, and in Part 1 of "Naruto" she was basically useless except for the one time where she postponed Naruto and Sasuke's death.

I really wish people would stop hating on her. I can relate, I think we're quite similar. She's just the main female protagonist who had to balance her emotions along with being a ninja. At quite an early age, too.
