  • Hummm, isn't "Duke" doing some hard time? As I recall.......

  • Agree wih 2 comments down.... was it the US that evened the score or was it the spitfire and the lack of resources on the German side? still a great vid ;)

  • @cosmobuszard Like everything made in the u.s this video is desigined to make americans think they are the best and brightest at everything.

The Russians won ww2, by the end of the war stalin had an army held in reserve ( meaning not his fighting army, another one) that was 40% larger than the western powers combined.

Don't believe everything hollywood tells you. Western allies knew this too and were worried about it ( check out operation unthinkable) Just got declassified this year.

  • I had this video!

  • RAF losses "Staggering"? Would you really call 1:2:1 or 2:1:2 staggering kill ratios? Nice Documentary by the way :)

  • The issue was that the RAF pilots in the early stages of summer 1940 were trained to line up and bring down bomber formations. The Germans called these tight formations "the line of idiots". It wasn't until later when the British started to abandon formation flying and fly looser formations that they became more successful. That and the incredibly precise command and control system of the RAF radar chain and fighter control was what saved Britain.

  • I have this vhs. I always enjoyed watching this tape.
