@perry1691 it is made to only run the Chrome OS. That's it. It's not even a barebones machine--it's less than that. Put Ubuntu on a netbook.

@miodowar69 To surf the web and WORK online tablets are a pain in the behind, while the Chromebook is design, configure and optimized to surf the web and WORK online. If you only do casual surfing, to check something out once in a while but do a lot of interpersonal communication (twitter, facebook, instant messaging, etc) and consume a authoring and online REAL work then get the Chromebook.
