I know this was a hit show, with a huge following, but I've never found it the slightest bit funny. To me the joks, punchlines, whatever, aren't even jokes. I'm not putting the show down, though, I'm just saying that there's a big difference between American and British audiences and for most of us "Yanks" the humor just doesn't translate over. (Though there are a few Americans that seem to like British comedy). Humor is a mysterious thing.
