Rupert originally wrote this song for his friends in Steely Dan but Fagen & Becker thought it was too pop for them so Rupe recorded it for himself. Rumor has it that Donald Fagen sings harmony vocals on the chorus & Jeff Skunk Baxter is on guitar. I wish this was a Steely Dan song.
