  • hi nice vids, on one of your others you said that you had uprated injectors i was just wondering where you got them from and how much they were cos very interested as my injectors have gone .

  • whats the use of it ?Excessive boost goes from waste-gate you better get some obd-tool and not make holes in the car.

  • @tonay77

ok just to put this right .. the boost on a Diesel car is twice that of a petrol so its not excessive boost as its normal to run 25psi ... and another is that the turbo on a lot of modern diesels do not have a wast gated turbo... its a VNT its all controlled by the ECU electronically

  • and as for holes in car .. having a boost gauge in front of me all times i can see how its working with supported modifications that's fitted on the car OBD tool is good but you can not look at a hand unit or lap top when your driving can you ......

    but thanks for your comments

  • @tonay77 I take it you have never seen a boost gauge before...Most people that run turbos will be running a boost gauge, hell you can even get them installed from the factory. The use of it is the same reason you have a tach in your car and don't go off by the sound your exhaust is making. It's all to monitor..You don't drive around like paul walker with a laptop in your car. You use gauges, then OBD tool it when you're gonna sit down and tune.

  • It's a deiesel they use twice as much boost then petrol car + was showing max boost so was loading engine to activate transit overboost it wasn't about how fast the car gos I have other videos for that

  • looks nice

  • thats a very neat install.

  • you can buy this from ebay and other automotive stores

    this store has them w w w flat4online c o u k

  • can you send me info on how i can order this gauge? tks mbrown1@nb.sympatico.ca

  • #OMG

  • nope you need to Tap in to the Inlet manifold for the Pressure sensor unit

then you need a Battery Live/Neg to the sensor in the engine bay and then live/neg/signal wires to the Gauge from sender unit.. the gauge will all so need a Switched Live from the ignition

  • How to you install this ? do you run it throug the ECU ?

  • lol ... funny

  • you drive the wrong side of the road and by the way - your steering wheel is also on the wrong side!

  • @bwrodczek

    you utter moron

  • @Rsspecial1

u got some nice vids on your channel m8 ... he can not help it hes only jealous that he drives on the wrong side and his car is slow ....

  • Ok if you say so..

  • drivering the wrong way

  • wow i hear figures like 2 bar and 3 bar of boost is that what you guys run? i have a tdci also and i didn;t realise they took that kind of boost after tuning. i have an evo6.5 which runs 1.6 bar and 400 bhp and i thought that was high, 3 bar is mental

  • @rneoman

Diesel engine with turbos run alot higher boost than Petrol cars

this is my Mondeo tdci 2.0l remapped with other mods on it now

Running just under 200bhp with over 300 torq .. all so i have 85hp shot Nos on it as well its a Monster when going and will easly whip bigger cars of the line

it dose now top around 37psi on over boost and about 25 Normal

i will have to make a new video and upload it

  • @MarkDerbyMEG I have to admit I was thinking the same thing when I first saw it. But then I realized it was a diesel.

  • LCD boos gauges are cool looking, but they're so obnoxious...couldn't drive with that thing blinking constantly in my field of vision.

  • OK, I'm retarded... it definitely looks like 0-30psi, which is exactly what I'm looking for, however I'm also really interested in that mount you have to A-pillar. Did that come with it? That would be perfect for what I'm trying to do! Lemme know if it came w/ the guage, or if you had to buy the housing seperate. Thanks!

  • had to by the Holder/housing seperate

for the TDCI you will need a Gauge that go's up to 30PSI or more

this one i have is the AutoGauge 45psi

others on the market will only go to 25psi max i ran in to this problem before getting the wrong one and killed the gauge lol it tuck the needle way passed max and it stayed there but that was those crapy HK ones

  • Which guage is this? Is it the Prosport 52mm, 45psi max?

  • @deverra666

    AutoGauge 52mm

  • @MarkDerbyMEG

I'm also interested in the range. 45psi would almost be silly for me b/c my CRD barely makes 20 pounds of boost. That's why I was asking if it was 0-45, 0-30, or 0-15. Lemme know... either way, awesome video!

  • Hi, is your car euro3 or euro4?

    My 53r. 2.0 tdci 130 euro3 boost 22psi max !!!

    no overboost ?!?

  • Mine is the Euro 3 with Vac Operated Vent Turbo for the age of your car should be the same

    TDDI 115 had both Fixed/Vent

    TDCI 115 is Fixed

    TDCI 130 Euro3 Vac-vent Turbo 99>04

    TDCI 130 Euro 4 Electronic Turbo 04>08

your car should have Over Boost

    Mark

  • Got new turbo, it push 2.5bar/36,7psi in overboost !!! Standard map sensor can only see up to 1.5bar/22psi:(

  • are you running boost gauge ? as Normal Max PSI is 21-22psi Over boost is 32-35psi this reading would be normal

My car is euro3 with Vac VNT Turbo

    Remapped by R-Tech 176HP / 283Torqs @ Flywheel

    Stainless Steal Decat

    Stainless Steal Sports exhaust system

    K&N Pannel Filter

    Bigger Intercooler

    Forge Boost pipe Set

    Forge Inlet pipe

  • and forgot to say .. Since taking this video its had all that put on it and

    the New HP/Torq fig ..

  • Yes, OBD gauge up to 1.5bar/22psi and analog gauge up to 4bar/60psi.

I killed my old turbo, now i know why!!! At overboost vants of turbo stays closd as on idle, standard car overboost only up to 2bar, but after decat/free exshaust/remap/box i can go up to 3bar!!!

  • 2.0 TDCI 53r. 130HP. DECAT+FREE EXHAUST ROVERRON ECOBOX 2 FREE AIR INTAKE my turbo boost on analog gauge: at idle 750rpm 0.05 bar. WOT on 6gear: 1250rpm 0.75bar 1500rpm 1.50bar 1750rpm 1.75bar 2000rpm 2.00bar 2250rpm 2.25bar 2500rpm 2.50bar turbo start to whistle !!! 3000rpm 2.60bar all in overboost !!! normal after overboost 1.4-1.5bar
