Lance, Why do you say that the DOW is in a strong uptrend? The ADX (black line) is still kind of flat so doesn't that mean we are still in a trading market?
@blabla9845 Dow is strong uptrend because: breakout, price exceeded Oct. high; has formed Ascending Triangle, ADX rising since Dec. 27th, new 3 day high on Tuesday, above 20 day MA, new 3 week high this week, new 3 month high in January. Also watch the day to day action and notice how the Dow has been leading the other major indices higher for a few weeks now which has made it the first index to breakout.

If the DOW doesn't fall below 12,300. It will most probably continue to be bullish =)
