  • is the GT take off better than Flowmaster 50series?

  • what is a gt take off? is it the actual muffler from the gt version?

  • @Xp3rTGam3r Yah its just literally a muffler from a GT mustang fitted to a V6

  • I know that there's one rubber hanger that wont be used, but what I do want to know about is theres a metal hanger welded to the actual tip of my v6 muffler and bolted to the car....was yours like this also? Did you simply unbolt it from the car (near the tip) and hang the GT one up there?

  • ok cool thanks

  • sounds really good. i just bought one like that and cant wait to install it. did you have to buy anything additional to put it?

  • Nope, didnt have to by anything else to put it in. My GT muffler came with its own nuts and bolts, but if yours didn't you can still use the ones that hold the stock muffler on. One thing youll notice is that youll have one less rubber hanger on the GT. Thats normal. Have fun and get at me if you have any more q's.

  • where can you get this muffler?

  • @StripedStang08 how will a 2011 mustang v6 sound without a muffler, is it bad to run it without a muffler?

  • very nice, i didn't even know the gt takeoff fit the v6. i took off the v6 muffler but i found it to be too obnoxious, but i have a spare gt axleback from my friend.
