  • Great ad. product, spokesman .images and music... cool...sophisticated...

  • That's cowboy star Paul Richards narrating. Poor guy died at age 50 from cancer. He was on Gunsmoke, Have Gun Will Travel, and Hawaii Five-0.

  • That's right "Mr"! This is a Man's car! LOL

  • My first car was a '69 Firebird 400 convertible. Good car but not as nice as my '69 Camaro SS/RS convertible. That was a great looking car.

  • you must not know anything about cars anyone who knows anything about cars knows which one is a better car :/

  • Fuck you Steve McQueen, talk about sharing the love!

  • I saw your car on EBay I've always wanted a 69 Firebird esp. in that blue color. I grew up w/ muscle cars my dad (who passed away 3yrs. ago) bought one similar when I was a little girl and loved it. I still remember that day , ever since I've been fascinated. Its my dream to buy a restored one and i just want to say you've done an awesome job!!

  • I stand corrected. I think I mis-read some credits on an old show. I remember the commercials and I remember he died young. Thanks.

  • The actor is Lance Fuller. He appeared in several Pontiac commercials and narrated off-camera too. Sold a lot of cars.

  • Actually, the spokesman in this commercial is Paul Richards. He was the television face and voice of Pontiac for several years beginning in the mid-1960's. A fine actor who passed away in 1974, Richards is probably best remembered today for portraying Mendez, the mutant priest in "Beneath the Planet of the Apes".

  • The advertising of this era cracks me up! It's like he's scolding you. "Buy this Pontiac, you pantywaist, before everyone sees you for the pathetic loser you really are, mister losing loser face" And then he tries to intimidate you with that 1960's "I'm gonna kick your ass if you don't buy this car" glare.

  • we have the same one at 0:38 and also a convertible that is red

  • My First Car Was a Firebird 400, 69 Convertible!Bought it in 1981 for 27.000SEK

    Today,its worth ower 300.000SEK!

Thats about 4.500 USD to 50.000 USD

For an Original Car.I dont have It,as I was forced to Sell it in 1984.

  • Damn, I was born too late! Write your own deal? How cool. Anyone have a time machine?

  • Where's the Trans Am? it's the introduction year, along with the other 'birds! Ah it's all good this is a classic commercial.

  • TAs first year is 69 not 67. only 689 made out of 88,000 firebirds.

  • Only 8 where Convertibles.

  • yeah and lets not expect to see a commercial of those eight that were made.

  • dam they dont make them like they use to. sad. now its a bunch of sissy computer controlled junk.

  • these commercials make me feel bad about my 91 formula, but i won't stop loving it, and even before i got it i've got my mind set on a black 1978 TA with a golded bird on the hood and a 455 under it ;)

  • Old school

  • ekol yaaa....:D
