@seandehav WOW Sean, you have certainly given yourself a major challenge to overcome. You brave soul! The only thing we have control over is our inner person. Who we are going to be inside of this circumstance? Herein lies your power. In spite of it all, who do you choose to be? Enjoy the journey. It's a step by step process to healing, to forgiveness of oneself and others. The choice is yours. Where ever you are is perfect. Embrace yourself. Love yourself. Be compassionate with youself.
Mary, you touched my heart! My friend has been in a similar situation and it was so hard to forgive and heal. I wished she had found an organization like yours.
Great job Mary, because you help both sides, the one who grief and the one who needs forgiveness!
@fbespaTV It is very very hard to go through these types of situations. It took me many years to get where I am. I've learned to not focus on the other rather on myself where I have the power to impact change. Where in my own life do I need forgiveness & then give that to myself. Compassion, understanding & love. That's where it all starts. Live works from the inside out.
Where is your friend today? I do work 1 on 1 with individuals, when they are ready.
Mary, I cried through your video; I lost a friend many years ago, when I was 24, in very similar circumstances: he and his parents were run over by a train. No emotional help, no understanding, and very difficult to forget.
I read your website; what you are doing at TheACY foundation is priceless! To be able to change grief, pain, and confusion to LOVE is really powerful and wonderful.
Thank you for sharing and having the courage and love to help who griefs and who needs forgiveness.
@alternativecancertre Thanks for sharing how Mary's Story impacted you. It's never easy when someone close dies. We will always love them & open our hearts to always remember them. They live on through our memories & things we do in their honor.
Forgiveness is giving to myself love, compassion, understanding I need in my own life. Love is that no one suffers. Yet the "suffering" we go through is a way we are refined like a precious gem is refined through the fire.
Alan, thank you so much for your comment on Mary's story of grief - forgiveness - healing! It was a very challenging time. There were no (grief support) groups available when our accident happened. That's why I am dedicated to building TheACY Foundation. I am so happy you wish to be a part of making this happen.
to err is human - to forgive devine...
